There are other species that could have not changed "within the species" in a period of 4.4k years (that's right after the flood). One of the great claims of Creationists is that all dogs, foxes, and wolves we see decended from 2 "dogs" that Noah saved in his ark, but mathematically and GENETICALLY it is impossible for there to be such variety in 4.4k years. The same applies to humans and different races in 4.4k years, so how do you justify this?

Why do we continue to have this debate. We have been for over 2,000 years. Science is a tool we humans discovered to uncover the machinery of life. Which in all cases, does not require a designer for it's beauty and intricacy.

Religion (and God) is a human invention to help people who are lazy better understand the universe. Religion is forever stuck in the past, never evolving. What people of "faith" are doing is believing and seeing the world the same way as those who lived 2,000 years ago.

Science continues to refine itself, always evolving. From the early discoveries made to today and what we will discover tomorrow. We have a better understanding of who we really are, where we are in the Universe. We can even begin to answer the biggest one, why.

Maybe it's because Christians are unable to be happy without believing in a skydaddy so they assume that Atheists are the same way

DONT ASSUME THAT ATHEISTS ARE BRAINWASHED LIKE YOU

I like the fake wholesomeness, it reminds me of a Hollywood movie like Easter Parade, all the houses look clean and homely with white picket fences but really you know they are just backlot sets, empty facades with nothing but scaffolding inside the front door, and the happy Christians are like lovely Judy Garland singing sweet songs but look a little closer and her eyes are spinning like tops from all the speed she's on.

I urge all Christians to get out and vote this week. Where I live, there are several Propositions that do not align with Christian principles.

If yes, where would they be? For example, where is the Earth's heart chakra or its throat chakra? In which countries (or mountain tops or bottom of which lake)?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal's_Wager

The Wager is described by Pascal in the Pensées this way:

God is, or He is not. But to which side shall we incline? Reason can decide nothing here. There is an infinite chaos which separated us. A game is being played at the extremity of this infinite distance where heads or tails will turn up...Which will you choose then? Let us see. Since you must choose, let us see which interests you least. You have two things to lose, the true and the good; and two things to stake, your reason and your will, your knowledge and your happiness; and your nature has two things to shun, error and misery. Your reason is no more shocked in choosing one rather than the other, since you must of necessity choose. This is one point settled. But your happiness? Let us weigh the gain and the loss in wagering that God is. Let us estimate these two chances. If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation that He is.

When ever there is an organised SYSTEM, theres somebody behind it.The more you learn about the systems within you and around you in the universe, it totally perplexes ones mind..
To me, the birth of my two sons felt like a miracle. All i did like all mothers was got on with my life, and out of my body were produced compex human beings, complete to their finger tips, with millions of organsied systems within them. I have to be mad to think that all this could be by COINCIDENCE. Why doesn't my house get cleaned or food gets cooked by COINCIDENCE?Theres the famous experiment: Take 10 coins, number them from 1 to 10, put them in a bag and without looking draw out coins one after another..RESULT: the possibilty that you will draw them in ORDER from 1 to 10 is about 1 out of 30 MILLION!! ie you have to draw 30 million times to get it right once! now look at the fascination systems in and around you...how the laws of probability are beaten!

I have heard both sides...

Once you've accepted Christ you can't loose that gift.

AND

You can turn away from God by choosing NOT TO FOLLOW HIM.

I'm confused!! =[ Does anyone have an answer or reference to the Bible that would help me not be confused? (Bad grammar, I know, I'm sorry!!)

God made man in his image-so we have the ability to know Him personally as Messiah and savior-and he made each species-but you cant mate a dog with a bird-even the simplest cell is dependent on other single cell life-if one cell came by accident-where did its mate come from?

when we believe a foolishness why would we be confused with fact? I believe evolution in kind-but not that it all happened by accident starting from nothing -without a fairy to create it and to make it alive even-be real please! Understandable when I lived in sin-I didnt want to believe Jesus and the bible-only that God didnt exist-
yet its simple to see that nothing complex even as a simple one cell omeba didnt come-with out intelligent design-what do you believe?

It seems like us Atheists will stand up for what we believe is right regardless of how many threats we're faced with.

Atheists are not punks who would stop using our brain just because of what MIGHT happen

Christians are punks They're playing the better safe than sorry game

They would forget about what's right for the sake of saving their ***.

God can't be too bright. I can probably win in a debate with him

I figure if God exist, he's not worth worshipping in the first place

I personally think that I can talk god into letting me into heaven anyway
