When ever there is an organised SYSTEM, theres somebody behind it.The more you learn about the systems within you and around you in the universe, it totally perplexes ones mind..
To me, the birth of my two sons felt like a miracle. All i did like all mothers was got on with my life, and out of my body were produced compex human beings, complete to their finger tips, with millions of organsied systems within them. I have to be mad to think that all this could be by COINCIDENCE. Why doesn't my house get cleaned or food gets cooked by COINCIDENCE?Theres the famous experiment: Take 10 coins, number them from 1 to 10, put them in a bag and without looking draw out coins one after another..RESULT: the possibilty that you will draw them in ORDER from 1 to 10 is about 1 out of 30 MILLION!! ie you have to draw 30 million times to get it right once! now look at the fascination systems in and around you...how the laws of probability are beaten!

Agreed completely.

Even some scientists do not agree that life is a meaningless accident. Why not? Because of what The Encyclopedia Americana calls “the extraordinary degree of complexity and of organization in living creatures.” The Americana goes on to say: “A close examination of flowers, insects, or mammals shows an almost incredibly precise arrangement of parts.”

Considering such complexity and beautiful organization—which is seen in even the simplest of living creatures—South African scientist Dr. Louw Alberts was quoted in the Cape Times as saying: “I get more intellectual satisfaction in accepting there is a God than merely accepting that it [life] happened by chance.” Speaking of the chemical composition of living organisms, British astronomer Sir Bernard Lovell wrote: “The probability of . . . a chance occurrence leading to the formation of one of the smallest protein molecules is unimaginably small. . . . It is effectively zero.”

In a similar vein, astronomer Fred Hoyle wrote: “The entire structure of orthodox biology still holds that life arose at random. Yet as biochemists discover more and more about the awesome complexity of life, it is apparent that the chances of it originating by accident are so minute that they can be completely ruled out. Life cannot have arisen by chance.”

My grandad told me about god when I was a kid but I wasn't ever taken to church or brought up as a christian. I became a christian when I had a personal experience of Jesus. Nothing has ever proved my conviction wrong and I've looked at lots of arguments, the first 2 years of my christian life I looked at other faiths and science but found Jesus to be the truth over all things all the same.
Christianity is believable because if anyone wanted to 'make up' a 'religion' they would have made it more believable than this!

I like to think of it this way. Man can only manipulate what he has here on earth. Yet God created everything. No human has ever created another human. Scientists still don't understand how the brain works and they are always learning. And yet some people still cling to evolution even though it is impossible. Evolution wants us to believe that everything is getting better when science has proven everything is falling apart. Yes, to not believe in God is be to a fool.

What an Excellent question.
I still like the one from DEPAK CHOPRA, he got more than 25,000 responses when he asked,"what do you think happens to the soul when we die"?
well anyway, your question...
I think of God/ the Great Creator everytime i look to the heavens, and each time I see my own complex body.
Which reminds me, an answerer from one of my questions ( as another user name) told me that the space between our cells, or something like that...the space between atoms in our bodies is comparable to the space between galaxies, or at least like from the sun to the earth.
I wish I hadn't deleted my old acct. I could have explained it better.
But I thought that was very powerful.
lets see, what else?
hmmm, the miracle of birth..The cycle of life...you plant a bulb, it comes up in the spring, then dies in late summer and lies dormant, then is re-born again in the spring.
Life in the DESERT, life even a mile or miles below the surface of the ocean.
Fossils detected on Mars...etc. etc.
I am positive, without a doubt that GOD created all things.
This body, this Universe, are all WAY TOO COMPLEX to have just happened by accident.
It amazes me that there are still so many who DO NOT BELIEVE...

The perfect order of things cannot be down to coincidence or anything other than a perfect creation. The sun will always rise tomorrow because the balance is precise. What really does it for me is seeing a blackbird eating his worm, a bee in a flower, the teeth we have been given to eat our food. There's a lot of chaos in the world but plenty of order. God is there, all we need to do is ask him in.

The experience of His presence, which I felt since I was very little. Even if I had not ever opened a bible, I would believe. Interestingly enough, when I was out in nature is when I most would feel His presence. Decades later, coming to bible study, I came across this verse:

"All of creation speaks of the existence of God, that no man has excuse".

Life is a miracle. Everything on this earth is a miracle. I really admire the way you've explained your story. If one looks carefully around him/her, they will surely realize that God's existence cannot be denied. And to answer your question, well i'm a medical student. and when i studied the details about how our body works, how we have such a delicate and intricate system working down to the last cell, i knew that there had to be a God.

I was a school drop out, a small time gangster, one that don't respect people, including parents.

But when I know Jesus, I see changes. I finished my degree, commissioned as Military Officer, and changed in the way I handle people. My parent, who was worshipping chinese gods turn to Jeus because of the changes in me.

Why? I experienced God within my heart. When I faced with evil force, he was there for me too.

God is not just in the state of mind. He is real.

Church has never preach any thing to me. But it was a simple sharing from a friend, and he never lead me to church. I seek the church myself.

No one has brainwashed my brain. But the Lord has entered my heart to renew my mind.

I know, for I have experienced it. A dirt like me can be useful to society, it is in itself a miracle.

Your example is very nice, God realisation can be attained by observation's such as these, which brings about revelation, that revelation is achieved through personal relationship and interaction, they can never be understood by anyone who is envious or inimical, the greatest truths are often the most obvious to perceive whilst utilising purity as the vehicle of that perception.

I agree with you about the magnificent way our bodies function and also the fascinating way women produce babies. That alone is one of the reasons which makes me believe in God.

The number one reason that I totally believe in God is Hearing about the fall of mankind and how the Almighty God made a way to redeem us back to himself through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The great thing about that is this Almighty God had mercy and grace on us, a fallen disobedient race. Yet you know that he don't need not even one of us to exist.

This loving God did all there is that is needed to bring us back to himself and the wonderful thing about that is it is all free, to us all!
All we have to do is believe and receive his gracious free gift of eternal life. And that life is in his son Jesus Christ.

Praise his Holy name!

Please won't you take time and read these Bible scriptures:
John 3:16, Romans 3:10 - 12, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23
Romans 5:8,9, 2Corinthians 6:2, 1John 1:9,10, and Romans 10:9,10.
