The nice thing about these movies is that there is no translation needed. They have no words in them.

I saw Koyaanisqatsi (Life out of Balance) first at a theater in Denver back around 1982.
Powaqqatsi (Life in Transformation) followed in 1988.
Naqoyqatsi (Life at War) you didn't mention, but it came out in 2002. (Of the trilogy, it was generally considered to be the worst.) Philip Glass was the soundtrack composer on this trilogy. The titles of these films is from the Native American Hopi language.

Anima Mundi is another similar film to consider.

Chronos (1985), Baraka (1992) are the first 2 of another trilogy which will be completed with the film Samsara which is supposed to be out this year. Michael Stearns is the composer on this trilogy.

I have not seen them in America. I would like to. Maybe the producers could translate them to English and upload them to Google video. This would help the west understand Muslims. Something needs to be done to counter the American media (owned by an elite group in a secret society) image of Islam as a violent religion.
