Reverend Red Mage, I am not confused with the definitions of the words... they just dont seem to fit me.. i do not deny that there is SOMETHING, but i do not believe that it is some singular being who is all powerful and created everything....

Good question! may I help you?

consider...
I "believe" I AM...is not enough however, the reality is you have to KNOW IT!

You first identify the problem, belief, faith seems to lack something, I can tell you it most certainly DOES!, so how does ONE come to know THE ONE , GOD?

Faith in something is completely different to knowing something

You're about to find out because you have asked the question... this is the seed Jesus talks of, do not stop asking questions of religion all and any religions that appeal to you. The knowledge is in there but only you can find it.

SO I give you three alternatives

a) Don’t bother yourself trying to understand anything,
b) Live in disillusion with faith,
c) Seek until you find the truth and KNOW it.

How do you do this? study... there is no easy path, if it were easy you would not need to ask the question.

I don't know what your beliefs are. I don't really believe in gods either, but i use them as symbolic portals into the invisible unknown energy that brings life.

....what?

You either believe in a god or you don't.

If you believe in a god, you're a theist.
If you don't believe in a god, you're an atheist. There's no shame attached to either of those words.
