I doubt if he was taking meth. That was just a cover-up for his homosexuality. The other man denied selling him meth. He seems a lot more honest than the pastor. It was about sex, not meth. He has resigned from the church. His days of leading or fleecing the sheep are over. I can forgive people for their short comings, lord know I have mine, but to criticise and condemn others for doing the same thing you are is unforgivable. Hypocrisy is the real sin in this case. He is only sorry that he has been outed. He would have kept doing the same thing and leading a double life if the other man hadn't come out with the truth.

Certainly.
Forgiveness is the strong point of the Christian Faith.
The fact that you use Meth is just a sign that you are
human and suffer from the frailties of the flesh like
the rest of us do. So you are a human being.
Adoration is another strong point of the Christian Faith.
We adore God, his Son, his Mother, The Disciples, all of
the Saints, all of the Popes, and special people everywhere. We could even adore you if you did something special that became widely published.
Since you use meth fairly regularly, do you often speak in tongues? Do you wear your hair and beard long? Do you favor sleeping in the stables with goats and donkies? Are you being followed by a group of shepards? Do you have complete conversations with unseen people? If so, you might be adored fairly easily. Try climbing up on a big crooked tree and hanging there for 2 solid days and nights. That might help.

I would still 4give you yes, but lets be smart about the question! if you were a pastor that had a meth problem, the congregation would most likely ask you to step down and try to help you get yourself some help. you can't lead anyone in that condition. as far as the money question, Christians do not give pastors their money, they pay tithes to the church. if the pastor is mis using those funds then God will deal with that person. and if you are going to a church where the funds are being mis used then you need to go to a different church because obviously that pastor is not following scripture and doing things the way the Lord says to do them.
