I have 2 friends. One appears to be on a spiritual quest, and she seems to have decided on believing that it is possible that all the gods of this world exist so therefore she will just accept that there is a higher power and will do nothing about it. She is very pessimistic, and I don't know how to bring up Christianity in our conversations.

My other friend is a very selfless optimist, who is pretty much one of the nicest people I've ever met, but unfortunately she is uninformed and has settled upon atheism. I fear that with her being very "intellectual" she will immediately dismiss the idea of God.

I know that I should pray to God so that He sends me the Holy Spirit and that he gives me the right words to say to them, but I still need some advice. These are pretty tough cases and I truly want them to be saved. At the same time, I don't want to turn them off either.

Thanks and God bless!

Have any of you taken the time to actually sit back a read any of the true scriptures of the Quran? Not the fake propagandist lies. Have any of you even gone to a Mosque to see what the Imams actually preach to us? Have you spoken to a Muslim and asked how they feel about the Psycho Extremists?

Do Catholics pray to the saints and Virgin Mary?
If so, why if the Holy Spirit is our intercessor?

Do Catholics really believe that they are taking Christ off the cross and repeatedly crucifying Him over and over again every time communion is taken?

Do Catholics really bow down before the communion bread? If so, why?

Why do Catholics have confessionals when only God can forgive sins?

Are Popes really considered to be infalliable beings?

Do Catholics pay the Vatican for their loved ones to get out of pergortory?

Do Catholics participate in bapitism for the dead?

These are all things that I have heard but I would like to hear from those who practice the faith because I can't find Biblical references for these things.

Is there another sacred document that the Catholics teach other than the bible?

Have you ever noticed how some things will just come naturally to some people, but other people, regardless of age, sex, lifestyle or background, just don't get it?

I think common sense may be tied to reincarnation. Lessons that you learn in passed lives make an imprint on your soul, which you can recall in future lives. The more you learn a lesson, the stronger the imprint becomes, and the sooner it becomes common sense in future lives.

Say, you learn that fire is hot when you're 6 one life because you touch it. In your next life, whether you touch a flame or not, you'll understand that it's hot when you're 6 because that's when you learned it last time. In your next life, maybe you'll understand it when you're 5, not because you touched it again, but because your soul remembers it.

Jesus said he would return for Judgement Day before his disciples died...they are long dead and Jesus didn't return.
Matthew: "16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. 28 Verily I say unto you. There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom (Judgement Day)."
Mark: " 8:38 Whosoever therefore be ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. 9:1 And he said unto them. Verily I say unto you. That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, til they have seen the kingdom of God come with power (Judgement Day)."

Is it reasonable to assume that all Christians are homophobes if they think the bible is truth? Since gays are born with natural attraction to the same sex, is the only way a gay can win god's love is to be celibate? Is lesbianism wrong as well? It seems like only gay men are condemned in the bible.

I routinely get 1 or 2 emails a day from a pastor named Rod Parsley. I never signed up for anything, as I don't agree with this guy on many issues. Anyways I have clicked unsubscribe on the emails about seven times, as well as emailing them 10 different occasions asking them to remove me from their mailing list. They refuse to remove me and instead of removing me I have started getting emails from Rod Parsley's organization "Center for Moral Clarity" as well. No matter how many emails I send requesting to be removed or how many times I unsubscribe I can't get off the mailing list. Anyone have any ideas on how to get off? Also doesn't this count as harassment?

Almost everyone say "follow your heart. " But the bible says in Jeremiah 17:9 that "The heart is deceitful above all things, and deseperately wicked; Who can know it?"
So I ask again: Should I follow my heart?

I believe in Jesus & bible but not in the entire current bibles which are not in their original language and which are man written. I believe in the bible given to Jesus (PBUH) Since Jesus was not the last Prophet or messanger, naturally his book should not have been preserved. The final messenger of the God was Muhammad as foretold by Moses and Jesus and as recognized by the Christian and Jewish shcolars of that time i.e 1450 years back and some of them immediatley accepted him seeing all the signs in him. Muhammad (PBUH) who could not write or read, was given the book which was so beautiful and amazing that many Arabs good in poetry etc. immediatly knew that it can't be human. It is preserved in its original language for last 1450 years and it is as fresh today as on day 1 confirms the fulfillment of the prmise of the God that HE would prtoect this book. Quran is the prtoector of all previosu divine books and it is the best place in my opinion to meet to meet Jesus and Mary is Quran

'if a person has means, & sees need, & does nothing, there is no love in them' NT
'love yourself, love others & love love [=god]' NT - called 'the whole of the law & prophets' by jesus, ie, the gist of christianity, morality, ethics, goodnss, pursuit of happiness, hevn
therefore it follows that if you have means, see need, & do nothing, you are not good, not christian, not heavenbound, immoral, unethical, & are destroying your happiness?
there is extremest need: there is extreme range of pay, superoverpay & superunderpay, pay from $1 to $1 billion a fortnight's work
overpay is miserable, because pleasure can only be slightly increased above fairpay, which satisfies 99.999% of needs & desires, but danger is greatly increased with overpay
underpay is miserable with theft of most earnings
overpay & underpay are miserable, with violence of conflict generated between the two
we have means: spray the superoverpay onto the superunderpay
have we selflove, otherlove, lovelove, sanity?

One time I had a dream that I went to a yard sale. I got to the yard sale and saw two tables set up with items on top of them to buy. Below one of the tables was a basket with some pedicure items and I read prices of $1.50 and .75 cents, but they were not new. The driveway was sort of slanted and then a golden labrador came and circled my legs. When the dog circled me, I had a feeling that something was wrong, I then woke up. My sister-in-law who I live with came home from yard sales and wanted to tell me about the yard sales and what she bought. Hold on I told her, let me tell you about my dream. I told her and she said,"But you weren't there, I didn't see you there." She said that everything I told her was 100% correct. It was as if I was in her body. What does that mean? I'm a Christian and my Christian friend said that it's evil and that witches do it. I didn't try to do anything, it just happened. What does it mean?

I have a gold cross hanging down from the rearview mirror of my car for protection. I do consider myself a fairly religious person as I attend church and also, read the bible from time to time. Ok that being said, I was driving my car at a normal speed when out of nowhere the necklace broke and the cross flew to the floor. I couldn't believe it.

Any idea what it could mean?
