I routinely get 1 or 2 emails a day from a pastor named Rod Parsley. I never signed up for anything, as I don't agree with this guy on many issues. Anyways I have clicked unsubscribe on the emails about seven times, as well as emailing them 10 different occasions asking them to remove me from their mailing list. They refuse to remove me and instead of removing me I have started getting emails from Rod Parsley's organization "Center for Moral Clarity" as well. No matter how many emails I send requesting to be removed or how many times I unsubscribe I can't get off the mailing list. Anyone have any ideas on how to get off? Also doesn't this count as harassment?

"?????????????????I was with you until I read your last line perve. "

what are you talking about? I asked wouldn't this count as harassment due to their not being a reasonable opt-out option. How does this make me a pervert?

Opinionated: I have already done this and instead of removing me from the mailing list it signed me up for another organization that he is the owner of "Center for Moral Clarity" and I can't get off of either list

Hi, I use a program called mail washer it helps with spam and problems like that. I will provide you with the link to download it for free. It has helped cut down on spam like parsley and his money making machine. It allows you to check your mail on the server before you download it. What happened was when you hit unsubscribe it confirmed your e-mail addy so now they will bother you till you give them money. Real Christians would not do something like parsley's organization did. We tithe at our church and ask on one for money on TV, because the money we tithe is used to spread the gospel and anyone who wishes to receive any material from us we will not ask them for money. Below is the link for mailwasher.

God Bless and hope this helps,

Chris

They obviously don't care about removing you from their mailing list. Have you been getting mail from other similar sites? I wonder if they are selling the mailing lists. You know that all they want is money. They could care less about anything else, except for more money.

Try adding the address to your "spam" list, which should block the mail from arriving in your inbox. Or, if you can't block his email address, just simply delete the mail as it arrives. Don't even open it, just delete it.

I was under the impression that if you click 'unsubscribe to this email', you are validating that your email is correct and they'll really start flooding you. yes, it should count as harrassment, because the emails are unwarranted. it's spamming. . try to put the email address on your spam list so maybe it could be blocked. good luck
