If you don't follow your heart you will always have doubts and regrets. It does take courage, but it's worth it.

no question approximately it. My happiness comes from attempting to stay with Gods plan. i'm uncertain if i'm getting it thoroughly appropriate, yet while i'm not, i will't watch for the time when I do. The temptation to sin would not contemporary itself as an invite to happiness in any respect, a minimum of, not for me. those days the temptation to sin is greater in the way of betraying a loyalty. I adventure a severe disconnection from God while this occurs, and that may not a place i desire to be. the end results of sin is only that...disconnection from God. that's spoken of in the Bible as "death", and that i might agree. A existence without God isn't any existence in any respect, and having spent a great quantity of time not walking in His Grace, I actually have a lot adventure on the priority. Had it not been for His beginning up of my awareness of Him, I shudder to think of the place i may well be appropriate now. curiously, i will unquestionably state that I even have been disillusioned or enable down via all people I even have ever enjoyed or respected, alongside with my spouse of on the brink of 20 years, and my 3 infants. God, on the different hand, has under no circumstances enable me down, and has imputed in me the understanding and the arrogance that he will under no circumstances. thus are the end results of obedience. I actually have a burden for all people who have not stumbled on Him yet, and proceed to stand in the hollow for them. I pray which you at the instant are not one in all them. Be nicely.

jeremiah 17-9 is in the old testament perhaps at that point mens hearts were "darker" but humanity has evolved through the Law of the ten commandments to LOVE God with all your heart and all your might and love your neighbor as your self. Jesus said this ,does this sound like the heart is still in darkness?? this is not speaking of the emotions of conditional love/hate,this is speaking of the unconditional Love of GOD within your heart. The choices are for you to make. LOVE

If you are looking for worldly happiness then you better start following Benny Hinn or some other prosperity guru. But you can find peace and joy the defies all understanding when things get bad. How you ask? BUT WAIT >> THERE's MORE! If you focus on what Jesus did on the cross you will see that what he did was so perfect that we can mosey our little behinds right to the throne of GOD and say " I deserve to be here because of what that man sitting next to you did for me." Now the sooner we die the sooner we go home. When we go home we are going to be the bride of Christ. We are the apple of GOD's eye just the way we are. You want to follow something then follow the spirit and read Romans 8. It will lay out what to follow and why. This is Joy and this is Peace not as the world knows but heavenly joy and GODly peace.

May GOD richly bless you.

Proverbs "He who trusts in his heart is stupid"
Nope you should not follow your heart. Why? because how can one make a informed opinion based on his heart. In a battle situation I would want a soldier to follow his head because following his heart might compromise the mission.

If someone gets angry at me I would prefer them to use their head and cool down. Emotions and the heart can be affect by many little things. Like indigestion.
Would you follow a leader that went on every whim without thinking about it? That flew off the handle and was completely irrational?
Follow your heart sounds pretty, but it doesn't make much sense in the long run.

I think you should follow your heart. Thats where love can be found. Just don't be blind and ignore certain things that might make you change your mind.

No I don't think you should follow your heart exclusively. Follow your heart also means following your emotions. Emotions are tools to be used - not the leader of the pack. I think you should follow your head - the big one. Take everything in and decide with the head - the emotions are only a guide not the only factor to consider.

Delight yourself in the LOrd and then He will give you the desires of your heart Psalms... delight in him and then folow your heart might work... but how do you do it?

Do your own thing... sounds so ...60's? and maybe allot of big mistakes started with that thought "and every man did what was right in his own eyes" isnt that the theme of the grisly book Judges? or maybe "all of us like sheep have gone astray each has turned to his own way but the Lord has laid the iniquity of us all on HIm" Isaiah 53:6

isnt there a song that says "tune my heart to do Thy will"
... Be Thou my vision possibly?? maybe if God tuned the heart then you can say the words and humm the tune and then everything woul dbe ok to follow your heart?

some people say, feelings sometimes make for a better caboose than an train engine. Experiences and feelings might follow a spiritual experience...but maybe not so reliable pulling it by raw emotion of enthusiasm

this is still a problem given we have fallen nature... but fear not!!! Jesus is the healer of broken hearts and all our hearts are not quite right

don't give up on the heart... but it is God who needs to breath life back into it. the righteous man in psalms 1 DELIGHTS in the law of the Lord.. a person who is saved will TREASURE Jesus.. and in heaven the desires of man and the glory of GOd will be perfectly met.... someone has said God is most glorified when I am most satisfied in HIm but it takes a work of GOd to set my desires in the right place
