Dear BcC, the Bible says in 1 John "Sin is transgression of the Law". in other words, when we violate Gods law (Ten Commandments) by lying, steling, looking with lust, using his name in vain, coveting ect, we have broken Gods law, we have sinnned and the BIble says God has declared a day in which he wil judge us in righteousness. If were guilty of breaking his law and we stand beofre him on the day of Judgement, God will have to give you and I the Justice we deserve in hell. The Good news is that Jesus Christ came and suffered and died for our sins, and if you and I will repent (forsake our sin) and put our faith in Jesus, God will forgive us and grant us eternal life. Thats how Much God Loved us.
God Bless

Sin is the behavior against the commandments of God. Everybody has the right to do either good or evil, thus religion plays an important role as a guidance as what is good and what
is evil. Sins could be performed physically and mentally and it is solely caused by the desire within our soul. God had created angels and satan before us. Satan is our common enemy, satan had made an agreement with the God to mislead human to disaster, satan is ever ready to whisper in our ears and encourage us to perform the sin. Thus the only solution to avoid sin is to educate our desire with religion and most important of all
the convincing faith in the name of the Almighty God.

the law of cause an effect create sin(karma) on this level of awareness one believes himself separate from God,that he has a free will of his own and that he is the "doer".one passing from the level of ignorance enters the level of law, working his way through the concept of "sin" until he finally says,oh GOd help me, i can't run my own life without messing it up.then a saint will show up and give one baptism with spirit passing him into Grace, where he is no longer a sinner, he is aware that there is but one will,Gods will an he follows "that" will.unless he willfully falls from grace. I hope you know much is omitted due to time an space restrictions. LOVE

The truth is that sin, as defined in the original translations of the Bible, means "to miss the mark." The mark, in this case, is the standard of perfection established by God and evidenced by Jesus. Viewed in that light, it is clear that we are all sinners.

Doing something that you know is wrong! Doing anything you know Satan will love! If you cannot tell right from wrong then you are free of sin!

sin is death. but God sent Jesus Christ as the ultimate sacrifice as atonement for our sin. Since God can not be in the presence of sin, He uses the blood of Jesus Christ to cover our SIN and we can be with Him for eternity.
