A person can go into retail toy store and buy a Ouija board. They have been selling them in those types of retail shops since I was a child. If it really were so dangerous wouldn't occult shops be the only places they would be available in? Or is it merely one gets out of them only what they expect to see?

Slaves, obey your human masters in everything, not only when being watched, as currying favor, but in simplicity of heart, fearing the Lord.

I've noticed so many questions that say things like "Did you know...?" And then you click on it to see the question, but it's not even a question, it's just a bunch of CRAP from the Koran.

In Saudi Arabia, practicing Christianity is outlawed. They've even outlawed posession of a Bible. They have a special task force that hunts down Christians who gather to worship. They even give rewards to people who tell the police about "Christian activity".

If the Saudis were in control of the net, do you think they'd hunt down people who preach Christianity and fine or imprison them?

What have you ascertain about compassion?

I know it's from the heart, but is it spiritual?

Is it God reaching for us to reach out, or it's God that lives in our hearts?

Or do you say "Why not me?" exactly how do you handle these perhaps unpleasant or unwanted situations in this life? Do you see these as curses, lessons, just some random thing that happens? How do YOU look at these?

Peace Be With You,
Debra

I have question in which I could never figure out. I have asked countless people whom I watch commit this and yet they claim they do not, they do not answer, I get the notorious "what?" or the subject is changed. This is not a very pressing matter but it is one that I would like you if you have done this to answer.

If you are not christian which is by all means ok, and I am not talking about every non christian, why must you claim there is no christ or god. Why can you not just let us bask in our revelry?

I do not make it my mission in life to make people into christians, so I must also ask this question. Why if you are christian, jewish, Islamic, or whatever, once again this is only for those of you who find this your mission in life, force your religion on someone? If there is a person I know who is seeking out a new faith I will always propose the Roman Catholic faith.

Sorry if my grammar seems as if it belongs in the late 1800's I am trying to build it up a bit.

Thanks,
Jamie

Pharisees said to John the Baptist"Why then do u baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?" (John 1:24,25)
The Lord said to me(Moses) "What they say is good. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers.I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything that I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him into account.(Deut.18:17-19)(the prophet was not an israelite because it says from among their brothers. The brothers of the israelites are the arabs who are descendents of Ishmael brother of Isaac.)
Jesus said"Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you".
John 16.7
"But when the Comforter comes, whom I shall send you from the Father, even the Spirit of Truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me".
John 15.

I want to learn as much as I can about the history of it's translation from aramaic onwards, the history of the 'versions' of the bible and what 'versions' truly mean to the text, the history of the division of the Christian church into it's endless variety of interpretations, practices and beliefs (Catholic, Anglican, Protestant, Baptist, Orthodox, etc) and the Jewish faith in the same regard (orthodox, hasidic, messianic, etc). You know, nothing big...LOL

Other than the fact that you are homophobic, or it is against your religion, how would it affect or change anything tangible in your life?
I'm married with 3 wonderful children, and have don't see how allowing gays to marry or have civil unions would in anyway affect my life.
Doesn't it really come down to equal rights? Gay people are going to live together, they love each other, why not give them the same legal rights as every other married couple?
