22"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. 23But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" from Matthew 6
It is highly addictive and effects the way you look at women. I almost think I can tell a guy who has lusted after women, from one whose heart is pure by just the way he looks at women.

ill be back with the exact reference but when Jesus said that when you look on a woman with lust you have already committed adultery with her in your heart. (Matthew 5:27-29)
that would mean you are sinning and there is another place where Paul talks about keeping the marriage bed undefiled. (Hebrews 13:4) By committing adultery you are defiling the marriage bed.
Look up Ephesians 5:1-5
1 Thessalonians 4:1-8
Colossians 3:5
1 Corithians 6:13-20
1 Peter 4:3
Pray before you approach your friend. Ask for the Holy Spirit to guide your words so your friend sees you are concerned and not putting on a holier-than-thou attitude.
Follow up with 1 John 1:8-9. Show him that he can still be forgiven and that God still loves him.

I don't have my Bible handy, so I can't quote the verse, but I do believe it's in the Book of Matthew. Jesus said that to look upon a woman to lust after her is the same thing as committing the act of adultery. The only reason to watch porn is to lust after the women and men participating in the act. Therefore, it is adultery in the eyes of God.
A secular explanation of why it is harmful is this:
1) Women don't really act that way in bed unless they are putting on a performance, so it gives men the wrong idea of what a woman is suppose to look and act like.
2) If a man is watching porn, his wife or girlfriend will usually be hurt by it. She will feel insecure about herself if she believes that her man is not satisfied by her alone.
3) If a man focuses too much on porn, he ignores the more important things in life and love, such as the security in the knowledge that someone could love him for something other than sexual entertainment.
I could go on, but I'll give you all a break and stop. Peace.

Say to friend that pornography based on fantasy with person they never meet. Pornography change person expectation. When real thing come along, it not as satisying as pornography. It like if you look at picture of million dollar boat all the time it make you not appreciate other boat that you can afford.

Matthew 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
In other words, if a person is imagining that they are committing a sin and enjoying it then in God's eyes it's the same as if they were actually doing it.
Another passage is this one.
1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Pornography is an evil lie. The women who are in it are shaming themselves and tempting others to sin. It asks people to imagine that they are having fun commiting sin.

Your friend engages in an act that is done in private by he and he alone. I can see where you'd want to say something but what he's doing violates no one but himself. He's not openly showing you his pornography, you are encroaching on him. His privacy and his sexuality and the way he expresses it is between him and God. Why would you feel the need to enter into that? He's your friend, you're not his God. Say what you will but remember that his choice isn't in your face. If you can't be friends with someone who does that, so be it. But leave him alone to decide whether he does it or not and if he does, if he offends or not.

You will find references in 1 Corinthians 5 & 6.
For example:
1 Corinthians 6:11
But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother or sister who is sexually immoral or greedy, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard or robber. Do not even eat with such a one.
I hope this helps.

1 Corinthians 6-13 Foods are for the stomach, and the stomach for foods, but God will bring to nought both it and them. But the Body is not for fornication but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
1 Corinthians 6-18-19 Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may do is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God and you are not your own.
And as a christian we are not to judge one another, but to pray for our brothers who are going astray. For the measure that we use to judge, shall be the measure that God will use to judge us, and yes we will all stand in judgment alone in front of God. Good luck and God bless

I got secrets: Firstly; is it your place to "tell your friend" what is right or wrong? "Go to your brother" principle is applicable when you cultivate a humble, smug-less attitude. Beware of the "leaven" of the Pharisees [self-righteousness] . Remember; consider yourself unless you are likewise tempted. Yes; after you have taken the "log" out of your own eye - then, proceed to work on the "mote" [splinter] in your brother's eye. - Be careful though ! Watch out for slivers !!!

The Bible says we are to glorify God with our lives.
1Co 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
