All atheists are very nice to me.
When they do good for me, I see the pleasanteness of this life. For seven years before my retirement, I had worked happily under the leardership of a very intellgent and helpful Atheist.
When they treat me badly, I understand more about the wisdom of God in giving men the free will to go by any ways they wish.
Every day I am praying God to enable the Atheists to appreciate the God-given free will and to rationally use it with the highest human responsibility. I also pray for the Theists to cooperate with the Atheists to build this world into a real paradise for all mankind.

of course there has been. even an atheist likes to keep the peace a nd understands social mores and can feel to some extent sympathetic. i've known theists to be cruel and vengeful. The guys who sits next to me at work annoys me a lot with his ateistic antireligionist comments but he is still civil and decent ot work with. He tries to be nice to people, he is just sorely misguided.

At the end of the day though there is more potential for a theist to be kind and compassionate in a wise and selfless way.

Yes, actually. Quite nice to me, in fact we are still friends as far as I know. We had that period of trying to prove to each other but we both realized that our systems whilst extremely different did allow for a continued relationship and friendship.

I don't recall off hand. I'm not saying there hasn't been Atheists who have been nice to me, I'm sure there has, but then again who walks up to you and says "Hi I'm Joe. I'm an Atheist, nice to meet you"?

Yes, some online have been. I have a friend who is. I don't necessarily agree with his beliefs, but I respect him as a person who is very kind and gentlemanly.

Yes, face to face, yes.
But only he made well sure I understood I wasn't converting him.

He didn't really have to be so bold about it.
I really wasn't going to talk religion anyway.
