I'm a straight christain and have a wife and kids, but of course every couple of weeks when I go to church I hear a pastor preach about how homosexuality is wrong. Am I going against my own religion by doing this? Is it wrong for me to have gay friends?

It runs about 5-6 minutes. The photography is the most stunning I've ever seen, and the music is (I think), a perfect companion to it. But it's the entire presentation that really moves me.

No secrets here, this is about faith. I just wonder whether you find it comforting or meaningful at all.

I had an online discussion with a Muslim who said that Muslims think that kissing in public by unmarried couples is vulgar, but he failed to explain why they are repelled by such a harmless act.

Is it because people were more naive in the past so that they use to believe any claim of prophecy or is it because people didnt have the technology that would help them to live better that they were desperate to find prophets who would promise them paradise and happiness , it is hard to find people who would easily believe in new prophets in our century..

I would like you to e-mail me if you are confident in your beliefs and you'd like to argue in favor of god's existence. Go ahead and answer too.

I would appreciate it if you would e-mail directly from your e-mail account so I don't have to deal with the Y!As format.

1. If Jesus is God's son, and born to Mary, then is he half God / half human?

2. If Jesus is God, then God died on the cross. How did the world survive without him?

3. If Jesus is God, then how is he God's son?

Last night I awoke to voices in unisent saying the sign of the cross and I found myself saying it and I found myself feeling great peace from it. Now I have been a recovering cathaholic from 30+ years. I have not liked the domination of the catholic church or christians saying that if I don't know that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God, infallible as he was on earth 2000 years ago, that I go to eternal damnation which I do not believe in. I think One God is inseparable from that God's self and that we are all part of that One God! So anyway "In the name of the Father(those who have gone before us as we see them in heaven) and of the Son(those who have lived on earth guiding us properly here to be civil with one another) and of the Holy Spirit( the mixed heavenly spirit and earthly guidance that is like that heavenly spirit) Amen. And I kept repeating it and kept feeling healed more and more and I pray it for my daughter over and over and it brings me joy. Go figure?

It is said that you worship false idols if you don't worship Jesus or Mohammed or some religious figure that people think represents what God wants us to think. I take stock in thoughts of my here to fore deceased relatives and friends as they are in heaven! Even Jesus there ...and I take stock and find comfort in some of the Only Begotten relationship moments and beings and some actual physical things that I have owned in my life....small stuff mostly in that regard, but they bring me healing comfort. Is an idol false if it brings healing? I wonder if we all got ourselves together praying with our false idols, wishing for healing from a God that is in those objects ande prayers and thoughts...I wonder if we could cause healing whenever we wanted?! Lets gather our false idols that bring us healing comfort and put this thing together, shall we?

The main point of Jesus's message was that he was the Saviour or Son of God, and that he suffered for our sins. Being married and attached to earthly pleasures would make him a mere human being with flaws and vulnerbilities and a liar. The bible says that Jesus was more than just a prophet and that God is not partial to anyone or show favoritism. You can't have it both ways.
