OK, did anyone get caught doing something that they shouldn't have been doing, and right away come up with an unbelievable excuse? You told your mom, "That's how it happened, I swear! You just have to believe me!" And then when she pointed out how ridiculous it was that you would expect her to believe it, "just because".
hmmmmm. . . . . . . kinda like the trinity. "It's a miracle . . . I don't know, but you have to believe it".
And the countless, "just let Jesus (PBUH) into your heart". ... . . . I have God in my heart, my soul, my everything. Jesus (PBUH) was a very beloved prophet, but was not God, nor God's son. God had children.
Alhumdulilah, I do read my holy book, and it gives answers, to my questions, no mistakes, no contradictions, only the truth. Alhumdulilah for the Holy Quran.
Eid Mubarak my Brothers & Sisters, may you all have a blessed Eid, and Allah guide you always.

Jesus (pbuh) was another messenger of God. Jesus prayed to god of Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Moses, Mohammed.
So Jesus is Not God nor son of God.

There are things in life that are triune in nature but one. For example: An egg is one but with three distinctions. You have the yoke, the white, and the shell, but all three composite the one egg. Another example: A piece of fruit such as the peach has three components. A peach has the outer layer (the skin), the inner layer (the juicy stuff known as the meat), and the core. All three components composite the one peach.
Other things that we have in our everyday lives that are triune is water. Water is one substance that can be liquid, gas, and solid distinctly or all at the same. The following quote is from the late Dr. Walter Martin: "It is a well-known fact of chemistry that plain water, when placed in a vacuum under 230 millimeters of gas pressure and at a temperature of 0 degrees Centigrade, solidifies into ice at the bottom of the container, remains liquid in the center and vaporizes at the top! At a given instant the same water is both solid, liquid and gas, yet all three are manifestations of the same basic substance or nature: H2O - hydrogen: two parts; oxygen: one. If one of the simplest of all created substances can be three in manifested form and yet remain one in nature, then the Creator of that substance can surely be Father, Son and Holy Spirit - three Persons and one Nature - without any violation of logic or reason whatever if He so wills."
If an egg, a peach, and water can have three distinct things and all be one at the same time, than the Almighty should have no problem. The word Trinity is way of explaining the belief in one God revealed through three distinct persons. Some people get all hung up on the issue of the Bible teaching there is only one God. No where does the Bible state God is only one person, but it does say God is one in Deuteronomy 6:4. The word for one there is the Hebrew word Echad, which means a composite unity. For examples of this consider Genesis 1:5, Genesis 2:24, Ezra 2:64, Ezekiel 37:17 where the same Hebrew word Echad is used and means one in unity, not in number! The Bible teaches there is one Church but many members and there is no problems with understanding this, yet when it comes to God some seem to have problems.

Jacqueline E,
"1. If Jesus is God's son, and born to Mary, then is he half God / half human?"
You could say that. It's not exact, but good enough.
"2. If Jesus is God, then God died on the cross. How did the world survive without him?"
Jesus, before He became Jesus of Nazareth, was a part of God called the "Son" of God or the "Word" of God. The Father was still in heaven, and His Spirit as well. The three are one; NOT just because someone said it, but because that's what the Bible says IF YOU PAY ATTENTION WHILE YOU READ IT!!!!!
"3. If Jesus is God, then how is he God's son?"
Because there is a plurality of God. He's not more than one God, but He is a plurality of persons. Confusing? Welcome to the debate of the AGES! lol

God is not like us we have none of the power and abilities he has all we have is his body style...most people think of a almighty, all powerful, God, and try to make him human...we are limited in our abilities...He can do any thing he created everything...LOOK at ever thing, the moon, the solar system, and whats beyond, before the 1960's no one had ever been off this planet look at all we can do and create, now multiply that a trillion times ....he can do what ever...
he had to be born in a human body to walk on earth amongst sinner, because God hates sin and would destroy it, that's why when Jesus was hanging on the cross before he died,Jesus felt he had been forsaken by God, and God had turned his eyes from him because he had the sin of the world on him.and i know it sound crazy, but then so does a lot of things, look at how each of us has a completely different DNA,no 2 people have the same finger prints, and look how many people there are in the world...how? and look at how the world the solar system has been in the same configuration for all these millions of years, and if one planet should change its orbit ,it could cause the other to change and knocking us out of our orbit, and we would all die....you don't think that's....amazing,we are not here by accident, and we are not alone, but people have become so distracted with all these movies, and book, and anything else that takes away from him ,that just desensitizes people to the miraculous power of God.....

1. It says in the Bible that He was the Son of God and the Son of Man...but I believe that it also says that He emptied Himself of divinity when He came to earth in the form of a human child..and that He was all human, though Mary was with child by the Holy Spirit.
2. God the Son died on the cross...but God the Father was still in Heaven sustaining the creation.
3. Jesus was a part of the Godhead when He was in Heaven with God the Father...then He emptied Himself of His divinity and came to earth...God the Father quickened Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit...so God the Father caused her to become pregnant...thus Jesus was born as a child, but was the Son of God.

Jesus talks in parables. Jesus said that He purposely did not interpret the parables to the multitudes. The "son" means truth. Did you know that Jesus was called the Son of Man as well as the Son of God? It is all over the New Testament. Most people just skip it over when Jesus is called the "Son of Man" or when Jesus is called the "Word that became flesh and dwelt among us." Word also means truth.
The Father generally represents the good, the Son the truth, and the Holy Spirit the action on the universe coming forth from the marriage of good and truth.

1. Jesus was fully man and fully God. John 10:30 "I and the Father are one."
2. The Holy Spirit has dwelt with believers since Jesus shed His precious blood on the cross for my sins and yours. John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you."
3. He is part of the triune nature of God. " I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God."
God the Father - God the Son - God the Holy Spirit are the three parts God. God has a triune nature. He is supernatural.
(To give a simplistic example water can be liquid, steam and ice but it is still water)
"Ask, and it will be given to you' seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7
Hope this helps, keep asking and check your answers against the Word of God.

No, it's scientifically proven that a baby, upon conception receives their blood supply from their Father, that's how come Jesus is Holy, His came from the Holy Spirit. He put on the form of mankind so that He could walk in our shoes on this sinful earth, and still not sin, and when He shed His Holy Blood for us, it was accepted by the Father, because it was Holy and pure...therefore there are no more sacrifices for sin! When you accept His free gift of salvation, you're immediately freed from the guilt of your sin. It's truly a marvellous experience! The world was never without Him....and as for your last question, He is equal to God the Father, yet He calls Him "Father" because even before the foundations of the earth were laid, the Bible says Jesus was the Lamb of God who was to be slain....He was to be sent down as the Son.....

When you start with false assumptions you can only arrive at false conclusions but if you start with the facts like Jesus is the SON OF GOD...!!!! and when Jesus died his father resurected him Jesus never claimed to be God he ALWAYS CLAIMED TO BE THE SON OF GOD misguide people try to make him God which Jesus always denies being Jesus was praying to his Father in the Garden and left his spirit in his fathers hands when he died and the Bible says God is from everlasting to everlasting is immortal hence cant ever die also the Bible says no man has evcer seen God but thousands have seen Jesus hope this helps Gorbalizer

You need to understand the 'Trinity' the Father, Son and Holy Ghost to get the answer to your question.
“And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his [Jesus’] resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, ‘Truly this was the Son of God.’”
