This is because there is proof that wind and electricity exist. There is no hard physical proof that god exist other then stories.
Personally, I was raised Christian, but quickly turned atheist at 10, when my parents said I was old enough to choose. I think that the possibility that god can exist, or any other religion can have truth. But the way I figure it is that if I go to hell for not believing then I'll believe then no?

I do believe in God, there are a number of things that have happened in my life, that cannot be explained by the word "coincidence", and the one thing that reaffirms my faith in Him in moments of doubts is Karma, what goes around really does come around, I have seen people being slapped in the face by Karma,
A friend of mine once killed a lizard by dropping a brick on it, fracturing the poor thing's skull, I kept screaming, asking him not to do it, but u know boys..... well I shouldn't have been surprised, when teachers failed him in all three subjects we take in BDS first year, he was good at studies, but teachers had some personal grudge against him, I know many people will scoff at this story, but I still wonder, if he had been a little kind himself to that poor little creature, wouldn't God have been kind to him too?

How can we know that the Sun will not rise tommorow but run out fuel to shed it's light? No one knows how long our Sun will last but we still believe it will come up even when we cannot see it at night. Yes I do believe that Jesus is God and the only god.

I do not have to see to believe God. God exist in spiritual form, and so we really shouldn't expect to see Him until the day we die - thats when our spirit leaves our body to start a new journey.
Of course then for other things I do have to see before believing or maybe try before believing it.

I can measure the wind,
The electricity company measures the electricity for me.
I know what electricity does and its effect if it turn it on or off
and if I touch something with it.
The weight of a unit charge of electricity can be measured.
How many pounds does God weigh.
Can you measure the speed of movement of god.
Can I use god to run a motor.
Your god is imaginary, sorry.

Yes i beleive in God...even though I cant see him. How do I know your smart when i cant see your brain to measure? How would i know you are nice or kind...when from here...where ever I am.... I cant see your heart. But It's there isnt it? You do have a heart and a brain right? I beleive you do....even when I cant see it. There are reasons why we cant see God...but those reasons arent an excuse for us not to beleive in Him. The question is really which God to beleive in? There are too many liars out there. Think longer...May the shine find you, my friend.

Would you believe in purple bunny rabbits that play chess if you didn't see them? Probably not, so why does "god" get the benefit of the doubt when colorful chess playing rabbits don't?...simply because someone said so...because people want to believe...because a priest insisted or your parents...utter rubbish.
Strive for more than just gods and goddesses and all these deities, strive for more.

Yes, seeing is not even proof. Our senses can fool us into believing things are there when in reality there is nothing. Happens all the time even to "normal" and intelligent people. And vice versa.

Wind and electricity can be experienced, tested, experimented on, and studied. Models can be built of their behaviors and predictions can be made with extremely high degrees of accuracy.
No such models of God's behaviors can be made. No predictions can be made of what God will do in any particular circumstance. No experiments can be made to gather concrete data on God.
