That is not the goal of science. In fact, science does not consider the "supernatural" at all in it's studies. If science disproves biblical teachings without trying, that's just a bonus.

Science can't disprove the Bible,so let them continue trying. The more they dig around, the more evidence they find that the Bible is true. For instance, scientists have found evidence of Sodom and Gomorrah, and that the 2 cities had been destroyed by fire, just as the Bible said. Scientists have found proof that there was a universal flood, just as the Bible said. Scientists are now saying that the Theory of Evolution is becoming more and more unlikely as studies are showing that the universe had to have been created by Intelligent Design, which of course means God,but they are not yet willing to say so. The list goes on and on,but one thing is clear. Those who say "do some research" or "read a science textbook" certainly haven't been keeping up with current events and data in the science field. We no longer feel we have to prove anything, because science itself is doing it for us.

"The proposition that the Bible must be interpreted by science is all but self-evident.Nature is as truly a revelation of God as the Bible, and we only interpret the Bible by science."-Charles Hodge

Science did not and science could not disprove the Bible.
There were some time, some people of the Bible condemned science as the product of the devil. That is why some of the followers of science tried to react.
If we knew that science and religion are both wonderful instruments to discover the truth, and all people amicably cooperated in this noble goal, then we would reach a higher level of knowledge, where all quarelling will become childishly funny.

Daniel Z,
After talking to a real scientist, they are not.

It's the guru's and self proclaimed "Clear Thinking Logical" people that are claiming what they are claiming. These days we have another thing that worked it's ugly head in: Politics.

With politics there is a power struggle that includes billions of dollars. Many people want those billions of dollars to fund their research. And so now the fight is to gain power by swaying public opinion though a new kind of "SCience." Sometimes called,"Junk Science."

Science, by nature, spreads out and tries to bring order to everything around it. Religion is something that can't be explained, so science will keep picking at it until it is proved or disproved.

Scientific Accuracy

Another striking evidence of divine inspiration is found in the fact that many of the principles of modern science were recorded as facts of nature in the Bible long before scientist confirmed them experimentally. A sampling of these would include:

Roundness of the earth (Isaiah 40:22)

Almost infinite extent of the sidereal universe (Isaiah 55:9)

Law of conservation of mass and energy (II Peter 3:7)

Hydrologic cycle (Ecclesiastes 1:7)

Vast number of stars (Jeremiah 33:22)

Law of increasing entropy (Psalm 102:25-27)

Paramount importance of blood in life processes (Leviticus 17:11)

Atmospheric circulation (Ecclesiastes 1:6)

Gravitational field (Job 26:7)

and many others.
These are not stated in the technical jargon of modern science, of course, but in terms of the basic world of man's everyday experience; nevertheless, they are completely in accord with the most modern scientific facts.

Actually, the scientist isn't even concerned with religion or the bible. It's the Christians that are so concerned with science.

Because science is easier to understand. All the missing links of science are in Gods pocket.

Why would anyone want to believe something that is not true? If there are inconsistencies in the Bible, why not point them out? If there are untruths in the Bible, why not point them out? Just because you choose to blindly follow the Bible, doesn't mean everyone else has to.
