How can we judge who is having a good life and who isn't or who won't? Other than our own.

2006-10-19 15:56:19 · 13 answers · asked by Anonymous

let's say - The Father, Son, Holy Spirit are real and are everything - and again (for discussion), EVERYONE who does not accept Jesus as Saviour and turns from sin - not accepting means you can't be with God, since your choice is not to be with Him the only place available to you that exists without the presence of God IS HELL....what will you think-say-do at the time that you see this is TRUE? What if (for discussion) Christians were really trying to help you from suffering forever and would you be so offended?

Cain asked this question in response to God's question, "Where is Abel thy brother?" God did not ask Cain where Abel was because He did not know. God knew that Cain had killed his brother. Cain replied, "I know not..." This was a lie, for Cain knew that he had just killed his brother. Cain's question, "Am I my brother's keeper" was intended to deceive. It revealed a cynical and hardened heart.

Doesn't God forgive and love all, yeah right, according to who? Well, does God love Satan, Will he ever forgive his fallen angel, and allow him to return to heaven. Or is the almighty Lord afraid that he may try to over throw him again. God already beat him once, and cast him out, can't he do it again if he has to?

Is abortion ok if the baby might have mental or physical problems under the grounds that they would not have a good life?
What makes a life good or respectable enough to live in it?
I know many people with a variety of disabilities that have a terrific life.
This question is in response to one of the answers I read here:

A baby is a baby. How is it we can choose to do that to somebody? Why is it ok, just because the doctor said the baby would have certain problems and not have a good life?
What constitutes a good life? Yours?

Both accounts written down..and long before the OT was written (even if you believe the first five books were written by Moses in the 14th c BC,that's still MANY years after these two accounts).

Both mention a great flood...Gilgamesh has far more detail.....quite similar to what is in the Bible.

Lived in close proximity....would have been very possible to have heard these stories re: the flood.

Think about it! Then ask yourself, would Jesus know you are from the future even though you wore clothing of that time period and concealed the video camera (using batteries to operate it)?

Considering that worldwide levels continue to rachet up, and Americans, like any other members of a Democracy want to feel safe before anything else (see the Maslow hierarchy), doesnt it seem most likely they will vote in a war hawk that promises tuffer measures against Islamists?

Personally, I wont vote for anyone who doesnt promise on his mothers grave to end dependance of Islamic oil.

Muhammad (P) said:

-"The time is not far when the nations will gather around you from every side, just as diners gather around a dish." We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Will it be due to smallness of our numbers at that time?" He said, "You will be many on that day, but you will be rubbish (or foam) like the rubbish (or foam) of flood water. Respect will be dislodged from the hearts of your enemies, and flimsiness will be placed in your hearts." ......"
[Ahmad via Thawban]

-'Islam will become worn out like clothes are, until there will be no-one who knows what fasting, prayer, charity and rituals are. The Qur'ân will disappear in one night, and no Ayah will be left on earth. Some groups of old people will be left who will say, 'We heard our fathers saying La ilaha illa Allah, so we repeated it.'

-"The Hour will not come upon anyone who says, 'Allah, Allah'; it will only come upon the most evil of men."

My last questions got much of the cliche's that float around in that culture, so this is the follow up.

One Muslim said "when you cause no offenses..." and another said said when there is "justice". Now, people of some fair level fo education know very well that what is "just" and what is an "offense" is so vague and so impossibly broad and impossible to define from person to person, much less culture to culture, that there is no way to avoid appearing injust of offensive. Simply no possible way.

So as a practical matter, if you were trying to draft a policy to be certain to avoid allll the delicate sensiblities of Islamists, making sure to address allll the different concerns of the different sects that hold the threat of Islamic terror over your head, wouldnt you finally arrrive to a place where you throw you hands up and decide to either convert of drop nukes?

Again, as a practical matter, if you were a politician whose only concern was making peaceful and prudent policy.

" While inclining to view the pronunciation “Yah-weh” as the more correct way, we have retained form “Jehovah” because of people´s familiarity with it since the 14th century. "

Book: “The Kingdom INTERLINEAR TRANSLATION of Greek Scriptures”, Pág. 23. Edition by Witnesses of Jehovah

They admit that the name of God is not Jeovah.

What they will make now?

correct me if i'm wrong, but muslims are expecting a figure to return and establish Islam as the supreme and only religion on earth in the end times, therefore the muslim "messiah" will force jews and christians to convert to Islam or face death. Sounds alot like the Christian "anti-christ" doesn't it? (Islam is growing really fast and will surpass christianity in 25 yrs.)

Who Is Oliver Granger?

Important Mormon revelations were recorded ...Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet, at Far West, Missouri, July 8, 1838,

And again I say unto you, I remember my servant, Oliver Granger; behold, verily, I say unto him that his name shall be hand in sacred remembrance from generation to generation, forever and ever; saith the Lord.

Geeesh. Lawd almighty.

Yea sure, an God appointed (on the down low) eternal tormentor is just waiting to make an eternity of misery for us, cause we are all so special and God's justice calls for an eternity of torment, and no less.

would any of the christians believe it was him? because he's suppose to take all the christians away to heaven when he comes, according the the christian bible... but what if he doesn't? What if he just says hi and shakes people's hands... Maybe some healings here and there, and then leaves...

my point is that the hebrews didn't believe that jesus was the messiah because he didn't fulfill his prophesy of freeing the jews, and many other things the hebrew bible said he would do.... So would christians believe him or would they do the same thing that the Jews did??

please give me a thumbs up or down if you can and answer the questions, i'm really curious to see what people would do.
