GOD WORKS AS HE SEE'S FIT.
WE STILL SEE MIRACLE'S.
BUT REMEMBER WE ARE LIVING IN THE LAST DAYS.
THE WARFARE WE HAVE IS MORE SPIRITUAL.
SOON THE WORLD WILL SEE GOD RAIN DOWN FIRE FROM HEAVEN.
THANK GOD THE CHURCH WILL NOT BE HERE.
\O/ KEEP PRAISING GOD \O/

Most of God's miracles have a special purpose -- mostly to get people's attention for one reason or another. In the time of Moses, he was setting Israel on the right track. And in the time of Jesus he wanted to make sure people were listening to the Gospel message.

Over the past 6000 years, there were really very few public miracles done on a per-lifetime frequency.

However, the next time God is going to want people's attention will be time leading up to Jesus's second coming. Those miracles will be very much like the time of Moses and the plagues upon Egypt, but this time they will be upon the whole world. Are you really that anxious for them?

Actually, the volume of miracles is up. The quantity of people and spread around the world has geometrically increased. We just don't see/hear as much about them. We also no longer live in an oral, tribal society, but an electronic, isolated one. Thus miracles which tend to be intimate by nature cf. no one was with Moses, are not passed around as easily.
I shared in a miraculous healing and when it was reported a year later at a conference, they had the facts 100% wrong.
Another side of the issue is the community of faith behind the miracles which existed then. Now we live in a secular society which choose not to accept/believe in miracles.
But they exist, oh my, they exist. They abound. God bless you for your searching faith.

you seem like a sincere person so i'm making this suggestion without sarcasm. i suggest you read the stories that constitute the foundations of other religions. if you do you'll notice that their stories too are filled with miracles and incredible wonders not seen in modern times. these stories are called myths. and the reasons those miracles and incredible wonders don't occur anymore is because they never really happened then. myths are stories that seek to provide a primitive people with the whys, hows and wherefores of life, death and other natural phenom. myths provide unifying symbols that give a People a cultural identity and laws and rituals that give their culture structure. events and places in a myth may have some factual content, a basis for the story but in myths characters and events are embellished upon, made grand and larger than every day human life.

so i suggest that you be content with the regular and normal miracles of life like the Earth turning to reveal the morning sun, a flower opening to greet that sun, your eyes that behold the beauty and the smile that comes to the face of your beloved one as you share the morning, the sun and the beauty of the flower.

Probably for the same reason Jesus could in His own hometown do no mighty works except lay His hands on a few sick folk and heal them. It's called unbelief. Mark 6:5

Today, in our oh, so sophisticated (whatever) world we create doctrines to explain away our lack of the supernatural power of God and build whole church denominations around them.

Welcome to the 21st century.

However, I have purposed in my heart to be a part of the church that was birthed on the day of Pentecost that had fully come after the resurrection and ascention of Jesus. I'm seeing a few small miracles now. I'm pressing in for more.

Where there is total ignorance in the faraway places in the world, God will do miracles.

God seems to be very stingy with them, because He has given His Son and wants us to focus on faith. When He says we will do greater things with faith I believe He is talking about those faraway places, but remember not to put God in a box like I just did. He will do what He will because He is God.

Stay on the front line like you are and thanks for a good question.

life itself is a miracle
the fact that more damage was not done than was 9/11 was a miracle
birth is a miracle
each breath is a miracle
health is a miracle
prosperity is a miracle

God wants us to seek after Him rather than what is seen.....
even the scriptures state that many will only believe by what they see - faith is belief in the unseen yet knowing
