I know how this is going to sound and that it may insult a lot of people's intelligence, but let's just look at the possibilities for a moment. Read what the bible has to say about the anti-christ and read what Time magazine is saying about Barack Obama. Seems a bit drastic don't it?

All biblical revelations aside, this sounds very promising. But when taking revelations into mind, that is all a part of the anti-christ's plan. Hey, you guys are probably gonna say some negative things in response to this, but that's exactly what this kind of figure would want you to do. Both sources describe this figure as a rock star phenomenon in a sense. Plus he's coming out of nowhere into the picture at the perfect time with all that's going on (i.e. Bush, Iraq, North Korea, etc.).

What's everyone think about this? Am I the only one who sees a possible connection?

I don't come across as lacking, and I'm slowly breaking out of my shell more and more, but deep down inside I almost care about what people thing of me too much. It sounds stupid, but I just wish i had more guts and confidence in myself. How does one go about doing this?

I am not buddhist but like what the buddhist tradition stands for. I am wondering how Sri Lanka can be at war if the nation is mostly Buddhist. Isnt buddhism a tradition based on peace? Would the Buddha condone such actions? If so, on what grounds/logic?

It's very clear that Jesus spoke in parables when addressing a crowd of people. In Matt 13:36-37 the disciples asked Jesus to DECLARE the parable of the tares of the field. My QUESTION is this..did Jesus explain to them the parable or did Jesus use the parable form? NO sermons please just a simple answer..Thank You

Many people throw the words "separation of church and state" around, but I am not sure if they really know what they mean. This is written in the First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

Does "separation of church and state" mean that there should be no mention of God in the public forum? If so, wouldn't that violate the second part of the clause? If not, then what does "separation of church and state" mean?

Hello!! :o) I hope you're OK. When a person becomes 'saved' - not only are they forgiven of their own sins - but also of the 'original sin' committed by Adam and Eve. I had two cats, on recently died. My other cat has changed overnight and now its like she is the other cat inside. Looks the same as always, but has simply changed overnight into the other cat.

Her personality, meow, sleeping and eating habits have changed, its honestly like having the other cat but in a different body.

Do animals have souls or spirits? Whats happenend to my cat? she has literally become the dead cat, its very strange.

Im not religious, though this is freaking me out a bit, and im starting to question whether there is such a thing as a soul, if there is, can it have passed into another living animal?

Anyone have any experience with this, or can anyone refer me to any websites for guidance?

Before I get any ruder answers saying Im nuts and imagining it, all my neighbours have noticed it too, we live in a small street and everyone has commented how much our living cat has taken on the personality and traits of the dead one.

Hello!! :o) I hope you're OK. Before Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge - they were naked. And they were not ashamed. Many believe that in response to their sin - they became ashamed of their physical nakedness. Adam [for instance] was embarrassed by the fact that his penis was exposed. But I say... it had nothing to do with his [or her] private parts. What they were trying to cover up - and keep [in vain] from God seeing - was their character - WHO they were as human beings.
