Do Muslims believe that Jesus was the foretold messiah? And aside from the Qur'an, do Muslims study the Old or New Testaments?

Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers. (Qur'an 5:72)

They do not believe that Jesus is the messiah nor do they believe that you need a savior to go to heaven. Outside of the Quoran, they study nothing else. They do agree with SOME of the old Testament as far as the 10 commandments and Gods law go, but they put Ishmael in the place of Isaac, which is just simply not correct.

I am not Muslim but I have been told from Muslim friends that Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet sent from God but a man not the son of God. They do not read the Bible but alot of the text in the Quran is much like the Bible.

Muslims believe that the basics of Islam existed long before Muhammad, and describe many Biblical figures -- such as Adam, Noah (Arabic: Nuh), Moses (Arabic: Musa) and Jesus (Arabic: Isa) -- as Muslims, because they are said to have submitted to God and preached His message as prophets.

they don't believe Jesus was Messiah, and they study part of the old testament, up to the part where the illegitimate son, Ishmael got tossed out in favour of Isaac, the legitimate son.

They write HIM off as just a minor Prophet, below Mo the womanizes.
They study and breath the Unholy Quaran .
they give "lip service" to the True Bible-- claiming it is full of errors. AN ERROR IS ANYTHING THAT CONTRADICTS THEIR BELIEFS.
An Example from the UNholy Quaran:
"Not Jesus, but a look alike, was substituted and crucified at the Cross." -4:157
THIS IS BLASPHEMY - AND A LIE! No proof can be offered at all.
A 100% Contradiction of the TRUE SCRIPTURES!
