sturdy questions. Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost ability an identical undertaking. The Holy Spirit is there once you repent of your sins & ask Jesus to become Lord of your existence & you ask the Holy Spirit in. i'm uncertain the style you tell if a Christian is crammed with the Holy Spirit different than in the event that they're following the Lord (in the event that they have the end results of the spirit). The Holy Spirit does no longer dictate what Christians do, it helps them make appropriate possibilities, the alternative even with the undeniable fact that continues to be the persons (that's why sin nonetheless happens) The Holy Spirit doesnt tell human beings to transform to different religions. The writers of the Gospels (or any area of the Bible) didnt make errors because of the fact God made the universe and all that's in it and made advantageous that His be conscious became appropriate. i think of many do ask which version of the Bible to examine, many variations are appropriate, purely diverse wordings. i'm advantageous I didnt get all your questions responded yet i desire this helps some :)

The Holy Spirit is another name for the Holy Ghost, the third member of the Godhead and the way you recognize spiritual truth. It is the witness that God is God, or something comes from God.

To Blaspheme against the Holy Spirit is to knowingly go against a witness by the Holy Spirit. For example, God appears to someone (as he did to Moses and other prophets). When he does the Holy Spirit is the witness that He is God. (It is kind of confusing because the Holy Spirit is a Spirit so it isn't seen it is something felt. If you were then to deny that God exist you would be blashpheming. As if, Moses did all his miracles and then started declaring that God was a lie.

It is rare to be in the position of blaspheming against the Holy Spirit and it essentially means "knowing God" and denying Him, which is why it is the only unforgivable sin"

Blasphemy of The Father is forgiven by the Blood of Jesus, Blasphemy of The Son (Jesus) is taken care of by the Holy Spirit, but when you blaspheme the Holy Spirit there is no other one to take your prayer to the Father.
Blasphemy is calling the Works of Jesus the works of the devil.

The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Trinity of God. He is the One who draws the sinner to Christ. He is the One who convicts us of sin. He is a person as much as God and Jesus are persons...in that that all have distinct personalities. He can be grieved.(Ephesians 4:30) He can know things ( 1 Cor 2:10-13, He has feelings (Eph 4:30) He has a will and can make decisions (I Corinthinans 12:11) and he can be resisted (Acts 7:51) He can also be tempted (acts 5:9) and outraged (Heb 10:29) and of course, you mentioned that He can be blasphemed ( Mark 3:29) So because he has all these personal traits, he is more than just a power...he is a person, not a thing.
For those who wonder what it means to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, never to be forgiven... this refers to our continual resisting and rejection of his convicting power as He attempts to draw us to Christ. The more we resist, the harder and harder our hearts become. There can come a point in a persons spiritual life that they no longer care about the things of God, and they no longer are tender to His voice. They are hard...turning a deaf ear. They do not care about church, heaven, hell, and they have bought into Satan's lie. They are no longer convicted about their own sin. It is a state of total depravity and spiritual apathy. Very few ever reach this state. As long as they are concerned about forgiveness, they are still tender to His voice.
The purpose of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Christians is to lead us into truth, to glorify Jesus Christ, to provide salvation through rebirth (John 3:5,6) to indwell the believer ( 1 corinthians 3:16) to confirm in our hearts that we are God's children ( romans 8:16) and to give power to believers to help us in prayer, interceding before God on our behalf (Romans 8:26-27) and finaly, He is there to give us power to witness and share our faith to others. (Acts 1:8) We need the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised the disciples that He would send Him, the Comforter, to be with us and that promise came true for the disciples in Acts 2:1-4 and the promise is good today too. So don't grieve Him... listen and obey.

The Holy Spirit is not a who but a what. The Holy Spirit is God's active force or power that he uses to accomplish his will. The Bible says all sorts of blasphemies shall be forgiven but not blaspheme against the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God the Father and the spirit of God the Son.

To blaspheme against the Holy Spirit is to not let the Holy Spirit speak through you as in:

16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Matt 10:16-20 (KJV)

Yes this sin is unforgivable. No sins are committed in innocence.

The Holy Spirit , as I feel it, is not a "who" at all.
The Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit of Mankind. A Spirit we feel inside ourselves that connects us to Christ, the one who we try to Honor through our daily lives.
God Bless

1. The Holy Spirit is who was moving on the face of the waters when God was getting ready to change the heaven and the earth from its formless and void state - Genesis 1:2. The Holy Spirit is also the Spirit in Isaiah 61:1 where it is written, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek, He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound." Jesus read this scripture in the synagogue in Luke 4:18 and sat down. It is evident that the seat where He sat was significant in announcing who He is, and with all eyes fastened on Him He said in verse 21 that the scripture in Isaiah 61 had just been fulfilled in their hearing. John the Baptist testified that when Jesus had come to be baptized by him in the Jordon River saying, "I saw the Spirit of God descending on Him like a dove and lighting on him," Matthew 3:16, and he also testified saying that God had given Jesus the Spirit without measure - John 3:34. Apparently, everyone before Jesus had only been given a limited measure of the Holy Spirit, but Jesus had been given an unlimited measure.

2. First, let's look at a definition of blasphemy from an online Bible reference*: blasphemy
Blasphemy, [blasphemia (blasfhmiða)] either from [ ()] to hurt, or blast the reputation, or from [ ()] to smite with words, or reports, when applied to men denotes injurious speaking, or calumny, and when used in reference to God signifies speaking impiously of his nature, attributes, and works.

When we find where Jesus addressed this in the Gospels, it is pointless to pull blasphemy against the Holy Spirit out of the context in which Jesus is addressing the issue. When Jesus is addressing this, He is doing so after He hears the Pharisees spreading accusative lies about Him saying He was casting out devils by the prince of devils - Matthew 12:24. First, He addresses how absurd that idea is by saying, "If satan casts out satan, he is divided against himself. How, then, shall his kingdom stand? If I by Beelzebub cast out devils then by whom do your children cast them out?" Matthew 12:26-27.

Then he goes on to say that if He casts out devils by the Spirit of God that the kingdom of God had come to them - Matthew 12:28.

In following the entirety of the 4 Gospels it becomes very clear that the Pharisees knew exactly who they were dealing with. They knew the scriptures, and they could see by the works that He did that He was sent by God. They were just seeking to discredit Him at every turn. They knew that it was by the Spirit of God that He was doing the works - yet they were trying to tell people that He was doing the works by the spirit of the devil. He was addressing them letting them know that He knew full well that they knew what they were doing when they were saying what they were saying, and He was letting them know very clearly that He was onto them and that they were warned of the consequences of continuing to speak that particular lie/blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

I'll have to do some research to find out if they continued to say that after Jesus issued that warning. My gut feeling is that they didn't pursue their agenda in that particular way anymore but sought other avenues instead.
