And if it's to worship him, then isn't God kind of egotistical for creating such a relationship?

Scientific proof is not needed-however it is time for God to be placed onto the EXTINCT classification-if it was once here it is no longer here-there are no fossiles of its existance to be seen and only mere records of circumstancial evidence that portray this being-however we have absolutely nothing to confirm a real LIFE or LIVING source-now you can believe that GOD IS LIVE-that is your right-but scientifically we must now make the observation that no Gods (like the Do-Do bird) have been seen of for a considerable amount of time and therefore we must place it as an expired spieces-however before we do it did need to have a scientific name and as no one has ever classified it as a spieces now I would like to take the opportunity ti now do so-I will name this expired spieces "JESUSaDickis" and its other relative "MuhammadaHidious"-I have done considerable studying held numerous vigils-have frequented many places of this spieces known places of refuge and do now declare-GODISAGAINSTUS!

I already have to take 9 hours next semester to graduate with my degree in Religious Studies. But they have this philosophy of yoga class that I also want to take. It's one of the very very few Eastern Religion classes they've offered, and I wish to concentrate on Eastern Religions in grad school.
I usually am swamped with 6 hours (because I work too). Should I try taking 12 hours just so I can get this awesome Yoga class? Or should I just stick with the 9 hours I need to graduate?

I realize no one can really answer this but me. I'm just seeking some input.

Thanks.

Secondly, if you had to choose another religion or atheism, which one would it be?

Third, what are the anti-(your religion) cliches that you hate?

We must unite my Christian brothers, if we are to stop these Muslim terrorists. They kill innocent of every faith, Christian, Muslim, and other.

Did you know that more Muslims in Iraq have died at the hands of Muslims than from soldiers of any nation?

Islam is false you can see the Hate in their faith, we must unite and stop them

What anti-God arguments are there that you respect?

What sort of arguments do you wish Atheists would present you with?

If you had to argue *for* Atheism (and you have to do a good job of it), what one argument would you go with?

In fact as far as I can see, it says the opposite, and just asks for you to marry first...

1 Corinthians 7:8,9 Now I say to the unmarried persons and the widows, it is well for them that they remain even as I am. 9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry, for it is better to marry than to be inflamed [with passion]

1 Timothy 4:1-3 However, the inspired utterance says definitely that in later periods of time some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons, 2 by the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, marked in their conscience as with a branding iron; 3 forbidding to marry, commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be partaken of with thanksgiving by those who have faith and accurately know the truth.

I met this young man in the lobby of our motel. He is visiting his mom and I am living here til I find a house with my child. I have been struggling with leaving my husband....but I know it is not biblical to leave unless he wants a divorce . This young man talks to me and sometimes my daughter every night . He is very strong in the bible and likes to preach/teach to me. I don't believe he is telling me anything unbiblical. Did God send him to me?
Coincidence? Or is it the devil in disguise? Do I need to keep my guard up? Or am I just not trusting of anyone? He is very friendly, well behaved and concerned about my salvation and my walk with God. What do you think ?

To tell someone that they are destined for Hell based on YOUR religious beliefs is nothing more than EVIL Thinking-how can you convince me to follow your God by placing a Gun to my head called "Hell" that tells you I will be FIRED because this is what YOU have chosen to follow-without considering ANYTHING Else I have done in my Life-I find it absolutely terrifying that YOU will condem me to your EVIL Gods destruction based on the teachings and preachings of other men-who like you HAVE NEVER SEEN or Heard this God-and yet if I do not conform to your belief you will place a distance between us because to associate with me might mean that you would lose the respect of your fellow religious believer-Can't you see this as the act of CHOOSING prejudice? I tell you that you are a biggot by choosing a religion because YOU HAVE SINGLED OUT YOU AND OTHERS LIKE YOU as Gods Chosen Children-What choice did I have to be CREATED? I did not ask "Create ME!" and you say I have a choice-yours obviously

If a cop who kills a bad person (a killer who has hostages he's about to kill for example), would that cop go to hell for his actions?

Same goes for soldiers who fight for their country.
Would god still punish them, or reward them for making earth better?

the society we live in today accept that it is morally ok to sleep with loads of people and even have sex before you are married.when it clearly states in the bible that it is wrong, also why do people accept that being gay is normal when in the bible that also tells us that is wrong.the fabric of our society is going down the pan,we are teaching our kids and young people today that this way of life is acceptable when clearly it isn't decent people need to stand up and be counted and stop the rot in our society today, kids should be taught morals in school they would do a lot better in life if they were.
