It depends on the church you are attending. There are many very conservative denominations. You might feel uncomfortable because you stand out. There are denominations that have strict dress codes, for example: women must wear dresses in church and out in public as well, they can't wear jewelry either except a plain wedding band. At these churches piercings are discouraged for anyone. At one church I know women are only permitted to have each ear pierced once and special underwear is wore once a member has gone through the temple.
Because people vary, there are lots of churches to chose from. Attend a few in your neighborhood to get the flavor of the church. Ask for literature on their doctrine so you can be sure you (and the Bible) agree. Then chose the church that doesn't care if you have piercings or not.
Personally, I don't mind male ear piercings. I don't really like plugs, or facial piercings on anyone. I have my naval pierced so I can't talk about body piercings without being a hypocrite.

some human beings can pull those off greater advantageous than others, yet I frequently discover that facial piercings are no longer that flattering. BQ: I purely have my ears pierced. BBQ: properly, they might upload some individuality to someone...yet like I suggested in the previous, maximum are no longer flattering. They make a exceptionally face gruesome!

Is there a special reason why you targetted this question to Christians? Just curious (nothing wrong with your question).
I'm a Christian and I don't necessarily see male piercings (earrings) as "wrong," although I'm not really for it. What I don't like are body piercings (on the nipples, tongue, nose, etc.) There's no point to that kind of stuff.
Don't worry about how others perceive you (although as a Christian, you should identify yourself with Jesus, how he lived his life, how he walked) because it is God who sees your heart. People look at the outside but God looks from within.
I got this from this link and it may be worth reading:

The only possible biblical justification for piercing of which I am aware is to identify ones’ self with slavery. Realize it or not, Christian men who pierce themselves are taking upon themselves the mark of one in submission — in essence they are saying: “Look at me. I am a slave to this unchristian culture with which I am seeking to identify myself.”

I am not christian, but I just have to say that peole ought to look into accupuncture before they start putting holes in their body. Some of those piercings upset important meridians that can lead to some serious health problems.
Peace!

My church has many members who have piercings.....the piercings they had gotten before they got saved.....we have no problems with them....my daughters tongue is pierced so is her navel and her eyebrow and her nose.....and she is accepted fine in church.....we have many in church with huge tattoos and we don't treat them any differently than anyone else....it isn't about the outside but who you gave your heart to.....if you serve Jesus you are a christian and you are welcome to belong to our church.....and we see nothing wrong with the male body or the female body....God created us and that's good enough for us....lol

Yes, the churches of today have seemed to forget that Jesus was a poor country outcast. I have a close relationship with Jesus, but do not attend church, because that is where the devil lives!!

Many people in my Christian church have "body decorations". In my mind, it has nothing to do with them spiritually. My personal opinion is that they want to be noticed & remembered by people, so they want to do something "unique" to stand out. They don't want to appear "generic".
That's just my opinion, but it has nothing to do with their spiritual walk with God.
