Kerilynn pointed out to me in her answer to my last question that her son is in Iraq, alongside countless other brave men and women, fighting for a cause they believe in.

My apologies to Kerilynn and any other person whom I may have offended by my oversight. I pointed out one example of heroism, and neglected to honor those who put their own lives at stake to protect our freedoms.

My thanks to the servicemen and women, and to the bravery displayed by their families. May your loved ones return home to you safely.

So, who is your hero, and what can you tell me about him/her??

Elaborate if you will. Thank you.

What religions qualify to go to heaven, according to your belief system, and which ones do not? Why? Are you guaranteed a spot in Heaven? Why?

If Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc. are from "Pagan" origins... why do people who claim to be "Christian" follow and practice them?

Since God is the one, all knowing supreme intelligence in the universe; didn't He know that there are no other Gods?

A New Jersey church is trying to get parishoners by advertising that "God wants you to have great sex."

The pastor of the nondenominational church states he is trying to attract people who are at 'risk of throwing their lives away' by having sex too young, outside of marriage or in inappropriate relationships. He also says that church is the one place sex should be discussed but isn't because 'God invented sex'.

Do you agree with the pastor and his approach? Or do you see this as another way to just get people through the door?

I was thinking the other day--how do I know I'm not the Anti-Christ? Could the Anti-Christ be a woman? Am I disqualified from the running because I'm Pagan, or is the Anti-Christ Appointment Committee an Equal Opportunity Employer?

For all our supposed intellegence and superiority as living things in the earth, how come we're the last to get it?

Just wondering.

If someone is truly bad but also truly believes in God/Jesus/Bible then can that person get into Heaven?

Imagine somebody like Tony Soprono - he believes in God and will wack anybody who says otherwise. But does someone like that deserve to go to Heaven?

What kind of justice is that?

Christians or members of any other cults decide to reject all other gods except theirs. Atheists only reject one more.

Perhaps that will give you a better understanding of atheism (by the way, I am Deist, not atheist).

When you realize how easily you have rejected every other god as a myth, you'll understand how easy it is for them to reject yours.

If Jesus is on the throne, how can He sit on the right hand of God? (Mark 16:19). Does He sit or stand on the right hand of God? (Acts 7:55). Or is He in the Father's bosom? (John 1:18).

If someone is a good person (whatever that means) but just doesn't believe in God or, perhaps, doesn't believe in the "right" God then do you think it makes sense that God we be so petty and childish as to condemn that person? Where is the wisdom in that? Where is the charity?

Most of all where is the forgiveness?

I was riding my bicycle, and no one else was around. It was a beautiful fall day. The dove landed on a fence right in front of me (to the left). No other birds were on the fence. Then, the black bird landed about 3 feet away from the dove, on the same fence - facing the opposite direction! There's got to be some significance to it. Anyone...?
