I was riding my bicycle, and no one else was around. It was a beautiful fall day. The dove landed on a fence right in front of me (to the left). No other birds were on the fence. Then, the black bird landed about 3 feet away from the dove, on the same fence - facing the opposite direction! There's got to be some significance to it. Anyone...?

This was in a place where no one else was around. The dove flew onto the fence first. Then, about 3 feet away, a blackbird landed on the same fence - facing the opposite direction. This was on Friday the 13th. Any significance to this?

When my daughter was about 6, her grandfather (my ex-father-in-law) died, and she was very sad. We had moved from NYC to Florida and, although she hadn't seen him much, she had very fond memories of him. One of the many birds that are native to where we live are cranes - white cranes. I'm not religious at all; I consider myself spiritual. I told my grieving daughter that every time she saw a white bird, it meant that her grandfather was near, and watching over her. She found great comfort in this...and does to this day. I started to believe in it, too, in a way, telling myself (usually in times of stress) that, if I saw a white bird, that everything would be "ok". It seems to work, even though, intellectually, I realize it is somewhat silly.

I don't have any feelings about black birds, however.

If I were in your shoes, I might think that the two birds "cancelled" each other out, if that makes any sense.

As I'm reading what I have just typed, it seems a bit....superstitious? Not sure. If you have something that YOU identify these birds with, and it is something that gives you a sense of inner peace, then, I think you should hold it dear and not try to analyze it too much.

Maybe there is someone out there who is either Wiccan or Native American who can provide you with a more knowledgeable explanation from a nature standpoint.

Scientists don't know cuz you don't know as well. If the scientists knew, so would you. Cats and Dogs see different level of energy the humans don't see. Cats and Dogs see in black and white and in color as well. They also see in Infra Red, hence in the dark. Animals read the energy bands around your body, a cat can spot a rat at a distance cuz it sees the energy field around the rat , hovering as high as 6 feet above the critter's body. Birds HAVE taste buds and whoever told you they don't have taste buds is a stupid idiot. The animal kingdom is a mystery to humans cuz the form of communication is at a different level. Mind to mind when your dog barks do you completely understand wut he wants or it is just another foreign sound wild cats dont meow they can't risk being noticed domestic cats will meow for food declayed captured domestic apartment cats from a 3rd floor balconi, watching the birds fly freely the domestic cats are to remind us on how barbaric we are to enslave a cat

I know my Grandmother in law, had a white dove land between her hands on the clothes line. She said to her daughter, "I will be dead tomorrow, and in Heaven". She was right, she died in her sleep, with a smile on her face.

But, since there was a crow and dove in ur story, perhaps both sides want you, or there was a change of mind, or plan.... perhaps you should fine out tomorrow?

I hope everything goes the way you wish, God bless

Ok, yes, there is signifigance everywhere, how beautiful and only you there to see it. Look up the signifigance of those two birds in Native American Culture, perhaps one is your spirit animal.......YOU find the meaning and hold/share the memory as you will.

When you see that I think you're supposed to spit on the ground and bury your left shoe and you will meet the person you're going to marry in 3 days time.
