Tell me your ideas about this.

Can you think of a truth that exists, that no matter who in the world you ask, they would say that is true.

For this question i will give the benefit of the doubt to all believers and accept that a god may exist.

With that said can we all agree that religion is false? There are so many different religous views out there and none of them seem to mesh. Could religion just be an opinion on the subject of our purpose? How can anyone be correct if god is beyond our comprehension and beyond our reach? Could we agree that if one wishes to believe a god exists and helps them in their daily life then that's just fine... but chuck all of the other nonsense out the window? Life is about personal choice no matter how you look at it... I'm sure the atheist as well as the religious would agree with that statement. Be it the personal choice to accept god or to have pizza for lunch, it's all the same.

Can we agree that religion is false... remember this does not necessarily mean that god is false.

Do Christians intend too just appologise, pack up and go home, leaving whatever political office they have because of they're religion?

Serious question, what's your exit strategy?

Ps) I know some of you will say

"ahhh but if he does exist etc will you etc etc"...please don't bother.

You must have some thoughts.. I mean not even the most fundemental of you can be that certain.

What would an infinitely benevolent, all-powerful God do with the universe? It goes without saying that He would eliminate all suffering, since He wants us to be happy and has the power to do so. But would he stop there? Imperfect humans have only a limited capacity for happiness. So obviously he would give us the ability to experience infinite happiness. Even so, the amount of happiness in the universe would be limited by our finite numbers. So He would create an infinite number of these beings, filling the universe with infinite happiness. No humans would be left in our imperfect state. Anything less would show a lack of caring, or less than infitine power, on God's part.

Therefore, the fact that we imperfect humans exist is proof enough that there's no benevolent, all-powerful God.
