What?
I am a Christian and I don't believe in a Trinity. Don't be so generalized in your thoughts dear.
Christian is just a title, and it doesn't matter what you call it, it is the works that they do that count.

people do not worship the trinity, nor does John direct people away from Christ but rather to Christ! Yes Christianity is deeper than just acceptance at an alter...you have questions...good...keep reading your bible, and start a prayer life,
and develop a relationship with the Lord and yourself, so that you can hear him stop you from making bad decisions....you sound angry, and or very confused...look it is not easy being a Christian, but the rewards outweigh any other way to live. Start applying Acts 20:24 and you will find a greater peace with a purpose for your life beyond your frustration as an on-see-er...and instead begin in your life living out your purpose of which you were created! Just in case you don't have a Bible here is the scripture in reference: Acts 20:24...I reckon my own life to be nothing to me; I only want to complete my mission and finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do, which is to declare the good news about the grace of God! If you want a more personal read...try the NIV, and also try the MESSAGE BIBLE, I personally like the parallel NIV-MESSAGE BIBLE... It is always a good idea
to keep the KJV around and the CONCORDANCE and Greek and Latin aids to better understand whenever a question arises in your heart. Study to show yourself approved before men so that you know what you believe, in order to bring others to Christ!

John didn't teach Jesus is God, either.
1 John 5:7 according the KJV is in error.
John 1:1 can correctly be translated "and the Word was a god"
Most won't agree with this translation, but it does agree with the Greek John used.
Jesus being a god is in harmony with John 10:34,35 (Ps 82:6, Ex 7:1, Judges 13:21,22) and John 20:34

We follow the messiah, the son of the living God! John is the author of a book that talks about the messiah. You're trying to argue evidence that John's teachings are false based on what John said Jesus said?

call it anything but dont call it Christianity bcoz Jesus never said that he was son of god. We believe he was one of the holiest Prophets of God and he spread word of God at his time. The Johnians( not christians) distorted the word of God(Bible) for their benefit and seize to remain the people of God. That is the reason Islam was needed and believe it or not Islam is your last chance for salvation as there will be no more prophets or word of God till Armageddon.

No no... it should be called Paulinity.... Paul invented the whole thing.
Bear in mind his so-called "letters" are the EARLIEST writings of the NT, and that the gospel of John was written almost a century after J.C.
