Religion & Spirituality - 8 October 2006

I do believe in God but lets assume that there is no god.How than was the universe began? Don't tell me there was a big bang and all the spread out and transform into what now is know as the universe. Cause then I'll say what causes this explosion. and it's not that there was some sort of particle that contain all those atoms and just happen to explode. because I would say where than would that particle have come from and what had cause it to explode?

How can nothing turn into something without a God?

this is one of the reasons I why I believe.

I can't help but think about life. Is everything we're doing a lie? How do we know Right is right and left is left? How do we know up is up and down is down? How do we know we have souls? Who created souls and who created the thing who created them? When we die do we stop living for good or do we come back? I become so confused and lost that i can't sleep. Can someone help me put my mind to rest? I beg you please, im so confused..

To me religion is a practice for some and a way of life for others. And your religion could be anything the art of killing people for example is it right or wrong... But one thing I will like to say is that we should not be focus on which religion is right or wrong or interpetion of scripture but love one another... Only thing I ever known Jesus or Muhammad to do was on the street where no one wanted to go and helping the people. What would they think if they found us hear debating over which religion is right or wrong or quoting PARTS of scriptures man edit to justify their actions. People we need to wake up and quit trying to convert one another and love one another as Christ and Muhammad loved one another because they sould like one and the same. Secondly every religion have bad seeds Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is now worse or better than a Christian pastor who tell you what you want to hear just to rob you of your offerings. To me we need to kick this religion thing out and start loving.

first of all the State of Israel was formed by the humans.. not for God like the bible said. and the Protestants are supporting the terrorism of Israel killing their neigboords? the arabs.. why Israel deserves our prayers? why we should pray for the peace? according with the Prophecy the state of Israel should be formed again by the messiah nor for the humans

Paul prophesies that all prophecies will fail. But since this itself is a prophecy, it also will fail (if the prophecy is correct), making it a false prophecy. 13:8
Galatians - "I would they were even cut off which trouble you."
Gosh, that doesn't sound very nice. But I wonder what Paul meant by "cut off". The New Revised Standard Version translates this verse as: "I wish those who unsettle you would castrate themselves!" 5:12
Revelation - Jesus has white hair, eyes of fire, feet of brass, and has a sword sticking out of his mouth. 1:13-16 Repent -- or else Jesus will fight you with the sword that sticks out of his mouth. (Like the limbless knight in Monty Python's "Holy Grail.") 2:16

my cousin has decided that he wants to be a christian~wiccan and some of you might remember that when i first started my conversion to wicca that i was a christian~wiccan, for me it was like a stepping stonehelping a christian to convert easly to wicca, and as i respect his decision to become a wiccan even if it is christian~wicca how can i help him on his path or do you think i should live him alone? i really want to be there for him and help him, mostly help him to learn more about it and prepare him for what i have already found the world has for us, i have some books i'm letting him read to teach him some things about wicca, but he is still young he dosnt understand these writtings and i have to tell him what they mean, does this mean he is still to young to be a christian/wiccan because i cant tell him he is too young to choose his religion, anyone should know it is not "my" choice it is his but if you think he is too young then i could just help him more becaouse he would need it

ive heard it said many times that all it takes to get to heaven is repenting your sins and accepting jesus as the son of god and as your savior. so do you believe that someone can live any way they choose and repent on their deathbed to get into heaven? that doesnt seem fair.
