Everyone seems to use or be used by people. Most people do it out of need and mature into want.

I keep hearing about facts and truths--especially when it comes to evolution--since we did not witness how the human race came into this world, and there's no written record, evolution is techinically a belief-a popular, yet unproven and gap ridden belief. When it comes to all facts and truths, they are just things that a majority of people on this planet believe. Think about it--how do you, as a person actually KNOW that the sun doesn't revolve around the earth? because you saw it on television? I watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch a few hours ago does that make it real? Read it in a science book? That is still just a book, like the bible--unless you have actually exited the earths atmosphere, you are just believing what you want to believe-- There are as many illiterate science types on here as there are Xians, so why do you think you're so smart again?

Thanks to all the prayers and thoughts. I am happy to report the operation was successful. As of tonight he is still in ICU, but his condition is stable. They will be starting to wake him up tomorrow, and begin removing his respirator. As a matter of fact, before I left the hospital tonight he started to take his first breaths on his own. Again thanks to all for your prayers and thoughts. The power of prayer is a wonderful and glorious thing!

And A Yippy Yahoo @ that-I am here feeling the American Spirit which is my freedom to Life-Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness and I want to tell you that Happiness to me is knowing that I am doing everything I can to try to stop the insanity of religious hipocracy that is used to spread prejudiced manifests for some Gods CHOSEN CHILDREN! You have stated over and over again that YOU ARE SAVED! This is your clubs Motto-however you are using this as an excuse to drive your car and use more than your share of resources-while spreading a false message of hope for those that are too afraid to face the reality of life which is "THIS IS IT BABY!" OK some people need this comfort-but when you use it upon people that neither need it or want it than you are stepping over the American Constitution to push a doctrine of religion that is GUARANTEED SEPERATE FROM STATE! So Back Off! Stay in your church-Oh I forgot-it tells you YOU MUST SPREAD THE WORD! Be Fruitful and MultiDIE! Earth 1st PLEASE!amen

My husband and I were born and raised Christian. We were restling with converting to the muslamic religion. We considered the change because it seems that my husband respects himself better and takes God more seriously. For myself, I have had many experiences with churches. It seem the poeple get caught up in worshipping the pastor more than worshipping God. Then my personal experiences include watching different couples seeping with one another, people stealing from God, back biting, and must I go on. No one is perfect. I know the bible says he who is without sin to cast the first stone but it's different when you make a practice of these things. I am just ready for a change. We already don't eat pork, my husband likes to wear coufers and is always greeted in the muslamic way, I always keep my hair covered because I like to wear the scarfs do I need to go on. I would really like your opinion. PLEASE BE OPEN MINDED.

There are many clues in the Old Testament that foreshadow what would later take place in the New Testament. This is called Typology. In the OT, there are types. In the NT, there are anti-types. The type is always inferior to the anti-type because the type is only a shadow or an imperfect picture of the anti-type. It's kind of like having a negative picture in black and white and transforming it into full color.

One example of many is Abraham taking his only son, Isaac, to sacrifice him.

Old Testament
Isaac

the only son of Abraham
carried his own wood
A ram's horns caught in a thicket
place called "God will Provide"

New Testament
Jesus

Only Son of God
carried His own cross
had a crown of thorns on His head
was crucified in the place where
Abraham took Isaac

previously I asked where the socks go that we know we put into the washer but never show up. I also sited that if we can not determine where this massive number of sox go then why is it difficult for atheists to accept there there is indeed something supernatural going on and one of those might be God or in my world is God. Not that I don't know but that it is an unknown to others whom I try to communicate with about Him.

Basically my question is then if there are missing socks and we can not explain that then how big a jump is it to assume that there might be a higher power.

Proposed answers incuded the dryer did it, the washing machine does it, there is a higher power that eats socks and my favorite yet still wrong down the drain.

more facts about the mystery I have investigated.

I use acrylic socks, I do not use a dryer, I have a ceptic tank, and my dog sees disimbodied spirits and barks like ell, so not drain, not SM, not dryer, not pant legs or we'd findum on the wak
