I have heard it said that a sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Isn't the definition if insanity, "repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results"? It's acceptability is proportionate to the measure of insanity of the asker.
(not that insanity is necessarly a bad thing)

Two months ago I asked the same question 5 times in one night WITHOUT getting reported. It is because I am a Christian, I'm quite sure. So eat your hearts OUT.

"Who's the cat who won't cop out when there is danger all about?" yielded QUITE different results when posed to the Law Enforcement, Fast Food, Women's Studies, Mathematics and Religion/Spirituality sections.

Here's Law Enforcement.

Myself, I would say a couple times. There are different people on at different times so you could get a variation of opinion then.

However, when you see the same question pop up every day five or so times in one day like "Why if they don't believe in god are atheists here' or 'Does god exist' or 'Who believes in god/jesus' it gets pretty old fast.

I've posted the same question over again to allow more people to post a response.
