My husband and I were born and raised Christian. We were restling with converting to the muslamic religion. We considered the change because it seems that my husband respects himself better and takes God more seriously. For myself, I have had many experiences with churches. It seem the poeple get caught up in worshipping the pastor more than worshipping God. Then my personal experiences include watching different couples seeping with one another, people stealing from God, back biting, and must I go on. No one is perfect. I know the bible says he who is without sin to cast the first stone but it's different when you make a practice of these things. I am just ready for a change. We already don't eat pork, my husband likes to wear coufers and is always greeted in the muslamic way, I always keep my hair covered because I like to wear the scarfs do I need to go on. I would really like your opinion. PLEASE BE OPEN MINDED.

Respected Sister, Assalam U Alaikum wa Rehmatullah ( Peace and blessings unto you)

No contradictions in teachings of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad ( Peace and blessings on all of them).

All Prophets and Massengers came with one basic massage of unique God, The supreme authority, Only creator, Sustainer, Provider of every thing and soles. All taught to worship and obey only one God.

Islam means submission to Almighty God. God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad ( Peace and blessings upon all of them). And who submit him self or her self to Almighty God is called Muslim. No one Founded Islam. Islam is there since First Human created by God Almighty. Muhammad(pbuh) is not the founder of Islam, neither he clam of this. In fact he said I am a humble slave of Almighty God.

In Arabic Allah is the proper name of God ALMIGHTY, in Hebrew and Aramic which was the language of Moses and Jesus ( Peace be upon both of them) the name of God used "Elah, Eloah, Elohim. So its not strange it is called in Arabic as Allah.
Proper name of God Almighty is Allah as Eloah, Elah, that means one true God without partner, sole Provider, sole sustainer, and creatore of every thing.

No one founded Islam, it is there since Adam (pbuh) and it will be till day of judgment. All prophets taught Islam.

The religion which teaches to worship One and Only one God. The religion which tells us there is no God but one God. The God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace be upon all of them).

The religion Prescribed in Old testament ( Tauret, and Zaboor) revealed on Moses and David (Peace and blessings on both of them).

The religion prescribed in New testament ( Injeel ), revealed on Jesus (Peace be upon him).

The religion prescribed in Final testament ( Qura'n), revealed on Prophet Muhammad( pbuh).

No one founded Islam, no one made Islam. On one can make or create Islam. Islam is the name of Behavior and Action. Behavior and Action with reference to WILL of Almighty God.

The religion command us to submit ourselves completely to our creator Almighty God. Because when we make some thing we want that thing to work as we want, same way God Almighty created us from dust, and from One man and one woman. We should obey our lord. Lord of Moses, Lord of Jesus.
The lord of Universes, the Almighty God, Allah, Elohim, El, Elah, Alah, as mentioned in original languages of revelations of Old testament, New Testament, and Final testaments, those are Hebrew, Aramic, and Arabic. People who submit completely ( With sole and body) to our creator are called Muslim. Prophets Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad, they were all committed to their God. They were Muslims. The religion they preached was Islam.

May God Almighty, Allah, Elah, Elaoh give us wisdom to under standing to practice true teaching of Prophets, ( Ameen)

Respected Sister You will be much much better Muslim then me because you are reverting after Reading and understanding of true teachings of Qura'n and Sunnah. And you will find That Qura'n is a Miracle, saved since last 1400 years from distortion and amendments. Every Muslim has to read Qura'n in Arabic, this has itself a Scientific Reason and that is the reason to understand Qura'nic teachings we can use any translation in any language but due to availability of Original Arabic Qura'n, Original reference is always available restricts any possible deviation and distartion from original message from God Almighty. ( I am a non Arabic speaking Muslim, living in North America ).

May Allah bless you and your family. Please also remember me and my family in your prayers. And also pray for humanity. (Jazak Allah Khair)

Hi. Pleace receive my humble obesainces. First of all, I might like to mention I am no longer a Muslim nor am I a Christian, however I did decide upon my possess religion, and I did convert from Christianity. When I was once younger I was once commonly believing within the Christian religion, till I obtained to be a bit older and it did not reply all my questions. I went by way of stages of testing different religions, and ultimately settled on Vaishnavism (the Hare Krishna motion). I selected it seeing that it no longer handiest responded all of the questions I had floating round, however it helped me in my individual struggles. I am all in favour of Islam, despite the fact that I'm pleased with my faith. One of my particularly near peers is Muslim; it is very intriguing to speak to her approximately faith. Peace.

Don't look at what other people are doing to discern truth--the alleged Christians you have observed are just going through the motions but are not following God. Stick with what the Bible says, especially when it comes to what it teaches about Jesus, not what you see other people doing. You say you're "ready for a change," but how has God changed? If the Bible has been true to this point despite hypocrisy among alleged Christians, why would it not continue to be true? Remember also that hypocrisy isn't unique to Christianity--there are hypocritical people of every faith. Don't make this jump just because you've seen hypocritical Christians, because you'll find hypocritical Muslims as well. Go back to the Bible and get back to what it says about Jesus and what His true followers are like, not just the bad actors you've seen.

I think the fact that you are questioning this in your mind is the answer. Satan is going to try and make you believe you are truly following God but even if you convert to the muslim faith I can guarantee you will find that they will have things also that will dissapoint you. Also if people are sleeping with others, people are stealing from God, and backsliding it seems to me that your focus is on others instead of the reason you should be going to church which is for God. God will take care of those people. I have been to several Churches until I found the right one for me. Cornerstone Church of San Diego was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Please reconsider your decision. Talk to God about your conversion. My boyfriend had a friend that was Muslim who just recently converted to Christianity. Don't let them brain wash you. I will pray that God will speak to you and change your heart. If you convert your basically saying you don't believe in Jesus and his sacrifice for you.

as a child growing up in the church i never accepted or understood how Jesus could be God.i swear that's the truth.i now know Allah was preparing me for what was to happen30 or so odd yrs later.without gettin to personal, my journey to Islam was more of a realization that Christianity wasn't savin me.and i was tired of hitting a brick wall.needed something but didn't know what.had a brother who was Muslim.on the phone 3000 miles apart he explained the deen. i promised i would read the Quran.when i finished that book,i knew that this was no ordinary book.but i fought it for a while.that old christian mentality ya know.soon i could not hold it back,i was literally in tears.and not of joy they were tears of fear.there was no way to deny what i was feelin, being that the book made me aware of what happens to that thing that makes us alive.so i jumped in with both feet and never looked back.and by Allah,i would like to be a kafr again like i wish to be thrown face first in the fire.get my meaning.may Allah guide you and your husband to the truth.may you never look back.may your realization of the truth cause Allah to grant you jannat.amin

The reasons you list do not seem to me like reasons to convert to Islam, but you do seem sincere. I encourage you and your husband to read the Quran. Islam and Christianity are not opposites at all, but are nearly the same. I used to be Christian, and now I am Muslim, after reading the Quran. I was attracted to Islam by the rationality of it.

Allah has brought you closer to him. Take the final step. Inshallah, you will find peace.

Best of luck. I know many converts (from Christian to Muslim) and they all seem very happy.

Remember, Muhammad (pbuh) is a continuation of the teachings of Jesus.

Do you really need to declare religion? why don't you just use your guide line and make your own values and rationals with out declaring religion unless you need really to do it for social purposes. You can be free thinker to.

All i know is the way i believe. You have to have a personal relationship with JESUS CHRIST in order to be called a child of GOD. If you don't have that relationship, it is my belief that you won't go to Heaven if you have not recieved Jesus in your heart. Sure, there are a lot of things going on , even in churches, but everyone makes choices in their life.Alot of people make wrong choices but GOD is still GOD.

Message from God:

Do not Convert to Islam! If you do yo are accepting the ways of the Antichrist and you are truning against me for I have said there is but only one way to me and that is through Jesus Christ. You convert and stay then my wrath will know your door in the end of days. Islam is in complete opposition with Christianity, whereas Islam is the following of the Antichrist.

The land of Gog is historically the Middle East, and Old Persia is now mostly Iran.
(Ezekiel 38:1-23, KJV)

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
