How does God feel about Christians being married to Atheists? Is it right or wrong?
I need to know where you get your information from - whether it's from Bible verses or not.

Just to let you know, My wife and I have been married 14 years. I am athiest and she is Christian. We have 8 year old twins and we are still together. We got into a discussion tonight and figured we would get some input on it. Thanks to all that answered. And to all that still may answer

a christian should not seek a non christian as a spouse, however if one becomes a christian after they are married they are to stay with that spouse.
2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Im just having a few alcoholic drinks with God and he has slurred to me that he really doesnt care if a christian marries an athiest. He said who is to judge the love between two people based on religion, thats shallow beyond belief.

Who knows how God feels about anything? Nobody is an authority on how someone else feels. The real question is if such an arrangement would work.
It can, but I think there needs to be an agreement ahead of time not to talk down on the other person's beliefs and come to an agreement on how to raise kids if they should have any.

it's not that it's wrong because the christian could always witness to the athiest and turn the athiest around...but it will never work! The two seperate, totally different beliefs and views will tear a relationship apart!

Well I am a Republican and I married a Democrat.lol
I guess a Christian could marry an Atheist, as long as at least one of them is passive about views..

If love is respect, tolerance, learning and open mindedness then it's fantastic.
I don't know how God feels, but what matters is how this couple feels.

I'm Christian married to a Wiccan. I don't try to convert him. He doesn't try to convert me. That doesn't mean I don't pray 4 him or that he doesn't cast spells on me, but we work.
