Ironic, I feel I need to ask the same question, but change one word: Why are people so hostile towards Islam?
I think if we really analyse what is taking place here on Yahoo Answers and in the world, we'll find that we are all hostile towards each other; even within the same religion, sects are hostile towards each other like catholics and protestants, sonna and shiaa, etc.
We all need to calm down, take a deep breath and start all over with tolerance and a real will to communicate.
This cyber space is an excellent opportunity for communication but how many of the questions and answers presented reflect real communication; a message or idea in the question tackled with a message and an idea in the answer?
It is really sad. May Allah guide us all to the right path.

Because, Christians, since the time of the Crusades up to the rape and Genocide in Bosia, were very cruel and hostile towards non-Christians.
Christianity was the first to cast the first stone of hypocrisy, bigotry and prejudice on the non-Christians.

Because Christians don't use their mind and they just follow deceivers blindly. No one is against Christians in fact, no one has the right to, the problem is with their thinking.

Mi' lady. We were told by our master; the Lord Jesus Christ, our Liege, that if the world hated us, know that it hated Him before they hated us.
