Another interesting tidbit. If one folded a piece of toilet paper 40 times it would reach to our sun. If one folded a piece of toilet paper 100 times it would span across the known universe.

Posted it here just because there are tons of people who monitor this forum. I read this today and I thought that was pretty cool info. I promise I won't put anything else like this on this forum again.

Scripture has nothing on Jesus when he was growing up. Maybe it was because Mary was an over-protective psycho, sprouting nonsense about immaculate conception, who kept Jesus sheltered away from society until his brain warped from isolation.

Let's just assume for a second that heaven exists. Do they let pets in? If they do, what about all th eanimals we have killed and eaten. Would you ever find yourself introduced to your Sunday lunch, or the last BBQ you attended on earth, or all the flys you squashed?

How would you handle that?

Following on from the speech made by the Pope and his reference to what the Byzantine emperor said about Muhammad, that he only brought things evil. Muslims obviously think this is wrong, so perhaps they can tell us what new revelations Muhammad added to those already contained in the Old and New Testaments that can be considered good.

Jesus said -I go to the cross for the joy set before me that you might believe. and he rose the third day -after pierced and labled dead and wrapped in a clothe placed int he rich mans tomb-then 40 days later with over 500 witnesses he assended to heaven-

he had to die sinless to take our sins away and offer to help us be born again as promised John chapter 3 to the Jewish rabbi

land mammal to whale:
pakicetus --> ambulocetus --> rodhocetus --> basilosaurus --> modern whales

theropod dinosaur to bird:
oviraptor --> lisboasaurus --> archaeopteryx --> sinornis --> hesperornis --> modern birds

lobe-finned fish to amphibian:
eusthenopteron --> panderichthys --> tiktaalik --> acanthostega --> ichthyostega --> modern amphibians (and later to the other tetrapods, namely the amniotes)

archaic ape to human:
australopithecine --> h. habilis --> h. ergaster --> h. heidelbergensis --> h. sapiens (modern humans)

If Jesus is lying about being God in the flesh, how does that make Him a prophet? If the apostles lied about Jesus saying that, how can we know what Jesus ever said?
If the Bible is all lies, how can you use it to say Jesus spoke of Muhammad? What if that's a lie too? Aside from the Bible, which Muslims claim to be false, what other "proof" is there Jesus spoke of Mohammad?

and if he everything the way Bible says just for him so what is our purpose?
and one more wasn't it Paul who translated the old scripts aftre the death of Jesus?
and as i read in the explanation he translated greek words into "the first", "the highest" could that be his mistake?
