I know that he does, but I have a friend who has been asking me questions and I'm not very good at coming up with good answers to this. I've told him the basics, but I need to give a lot more solid proof. Please help me. And only answer if you really know what you are talking about. Thanx.

He created you. He loved you enough to make you who you are so that you may enjoy Him for who He is!

He became flesh for you. - why would he do that but because He loved you enough to be like you, that you may be like him

He lived this earth, as you, he was your representative before God, - that is he took your place, walked more than a mile in your shoes, lived the life perfect, complete whole holy, that He might be your representative, He hungered, He became poor, He became a slave, He became your sacrifice - Why else would he do that but to show that He loves you.

He died for your (debts) sins, He took them upon Himself that you might be freed from them. He paid them.

He took your Hell! If that is not enough to show that He loved you how much more do you need! He became you, he took your punishment, your death sentence, your crimes, your sins, and he went and suffered under the most cruelest tortures this world has devised - crucifixion! He loved you to do that for you!

He was buried, and rose the third day so that you might have victroy in His Name - that you would be made new by the new birth by being born again and then filled with His Spirit so that you would know what it is like to be like Him so that when you go to Heaven to live with Him its just a greater measure of Him that you see and know and share and worship and this too is Love - for God is Love!

Some proof is that he died on the cross for us even though we didn't deserve it. When was the last time someone did that? That's one way to prove Jesus loves everyone. Another way is in almost every Bible story, like the story about Abraham and how Abraham kept coming back to God and asking him if he could spare so many people and God did it everytime. Also there are God's promises. One promise is that God will never flood the whole earth ever again and he didn't. That's another way to show God's love for everyone.

I'm afraid none of us can. You said to only answer if we really know what we're talking about. I can tell you this:

Nobody knows for sure, and nobody has proof.

It may sound negative, but it's really just a starting point in a clean thought process. Everyone here who felt that they needed to answer this question with proof...neglected to provide any real proof. Does more harm to the religion than good.

You sound like you are talking to someone who has you chasing your tail. Start with the below passage:

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotton Son, that those who believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

God loved the world, Jesus is God, therefore Jesus loves the world. Direct logic...lemme know if you need help.

If you believe God's Word then all you have to ask yourself is there anybody that love me enough that they would die for me? The Lord Jesus Christ had to become a man so He could die for your sins. He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again for your justification. He did it all for us. That is how much He loves us. He died for us while we were yet sinners. Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Philippians 2: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Philippians 2: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Philippians 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

If God loves the world that would include everyone!

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. "

God wants everyone to come to Him because he loves each and every person He created.

just plainly say other gods want you to die for them but jesus loves us so much he died for us

What did Jesus reveal about God's personality? What about God's thoughts, expectations and His feelings toward humankind? Jesus Christ showed God to be gentle, loving, aware of our self-centeredness and shortcomings, yet deeply wanting a relationship with us. Jesus revealed that although God views us as sinners, worthy of His punishment, His love for us ruled and God came up with a different plan. God would have His Son receive the punishment for our sin. And Jesus willingly accepted this plan.

in my view, i'm a Christian who could provide you lots extra Scriptures than John 3:sixteen to show God's love, yet i think of that lots of "Christians" use that verse because of the fact the do no longer study the e book that our entire concept device is predicated off of, and because it is the only verse they bear in mind from Sunday college, they start throwing it around and then assume human beings to prefer to hearken to them. And it supplies something human beings Christians, who understand what we've self belief, a bad rep. i admire them, ya understand, yet it is the kinda stuff that makes human beings hate us.
