God believes in Himself as God, so by the definition of atheist, God is not an atheist.

He IS God. He HAS no religion. This doesnt mean that He's atheist.
About atheism:
Atheism is the BELIEF that there is NO God. Thus, atheism is a religion too because you have to BELIEVE & be CERTAIN that there is no God.

The reason why is GOD is the highest he can go he is the highest being in the universe. He can't go higher then himself hes the most high there is not any one else. Okay ;-)
