That's got everything. Well, not EVERYTHING, but quite enough for the purposes of this question.

No. But there is a great deal of problems in humanity applying it to their life. The way I see it is that humans are basically selfish and indifferent to the needs of their fellow man. That is why there is so much warfare and suffering. The theme of the Bible, especially the New Testament is obedience and love towards God and loving and treating people as you would love to be treated. Most people shun at this demand and prefer to go on doing things their own way. Hence, we are reaping what we sow.

My biggest frustration is that everything written in the bible is directed to specific people at specific times and the Cannon is closed so there is nothing written for us at this time.

Before everyone gets in a tizzy; Yes the truths and lessons of the bible are still valid and applicable today.

My point is the specific story/situation addressed are time and people oriented. For example: God's commandment/s. The concept of all biblical law is Love God, love yourself as God love you, love other people as God loves you and them.

We get this broken down into 10 edicts during the exodus. The Israelites don't get it. So then it is broken down even further to, I believe, 663 levitical laws adressing day to day life. Specifically how to stay healthy, treat others and honor/worship God. The chosen of God still can't get it right so Jesus abolished the letter of the levitical laws and reverts back to the general concepts to be lived out. We still do not get it right. I am sure there has been someone since Christ who has been given knowledge by God of a way for us to get this concept. Unfortunately, their writting is not/ can not be cannonized and taught. This saddens me.

Personally, I struggle with Paul's words about women in the church.
I'm not saying Paul was wrong or that it should be removed. I just have a hard time wrapping my mind around exactly how he meant that.

But just like you don't want 20 people screaming that the Bible is perfect, I get tired of 20 people screaming the Bible is a fairy tale. That's a two way street.

The problem with the Bible is its interpreter. Everyone wants to interpret the tales and stories somehow and give a special meaning to them, which, in the Christian circles, is usually salvation.

The other side looks for contradictions in the Bible and wants to throw everything over.

The Bible, in my opinion, is a guidebook, filled with historic facts, parables, morals, values, etc etc etc.
In my opinion, it wants to teach us especially one thing, i.e. cause and effect. Do one thing, and you will reap the coscequences: You reap what you sow. Yet you also live in abundance, and even reap when you didn't sow.
And there you see the problem already; I have an opinion and you disagree with it, because you have an opinion as well.
So the problem is not the Bible, it is us.

Here's one I've never seen satisfactorily explained by Christians:

Abraham had two sons. Ishmael was born 13 years before Isaac. At the time that Abraham was ordered to sacrifice his son, the Bible says "only" son, referring, apparently, to Isaac.

And has anybody ever counted how many OT kings and prophets were called "son of Man" or "son of God"?

And why does the Bible say that we all get "original sin" passed to us from our parents, and also say that no may should pay a penalty for the sin of another - and also say that the sons of a sinful father are cursed?

Oh, and the Bible is perfect, you need Jesus or you're going to Hell, man!

My main problem with the current Bible? Too many translations from the original Greek. There is no telling WHAT it really said in the beginning.

Yeah there is lots of problems in the bible that I see/read. Way too many to list on this site. To name a few: Women are treated poorly in the bible. It says do not kill yet several times it says to stone people to death.
Here is a site where you can read about more problems in the bible.

Why did it never mention the dinosaurs? Eye for an eye. Turn the other cheek. Why does Mohamed claim to have rousted the Romans five years after his death? Why don't Muslims talk about the 600 hundred behead Jews buried in the town square in Medina on the order of Mohamed or the fact he robbed for the merchants going from Syria to Mecca. Or burnt women that showed there hair. get the picture. Type Medina Mohamed read it

aww dude. where should i start? it's full of flaws. i mean, it's completely ilogical at some points and it practically says one thing and then comes back on it and says it's some other way. i asked some of the priests here and my religion teacher abt what i thought didn't fit. and they had just the perfect answer "u have to believe everything that is written in the bible. u should not question it. u'll understand it when u're older"... that's a load of bulls**t.

Biggest question I never have had a good answer from is "who was Cain afraid of?" He was to be exiled for killing Able, and was afraid others would know him and kill him. God put a mark on him so all would know he was protected by God. If the population of the Earth according to the bible was Adam, Eve, Cain and the now rotting Able, Who was Cain afraid of?
