Jesus said -I go to the cross for the joy set before me that you might believe. and he rose the third day -after pierced and labled dead and wrapped in a clothe placed int he rich mans tomb-then 40 days later with over 500 witnesses he assended to heaven-
he had to die sinless to take our sins away and offer to help us be born again as promised John chapter 3 to the Jewish rabbi
