Nirvana is a state of greater inner peace and contentment or highest happiness. I wonder if there are any stages or states in-between before reaching Nirvana state. More specifically, if Nirvana is the state after "step 3" of getting to the ultimate happiness or inner peace, what is the states after "step 1" and "step 2" can be called. Thanks!

A question to christians who cliam that God loves all his creatures.

What about those who will be tortured forever in hell fire? .. does God love them too? or may be God's knowledge is limited and he doesn't know who is going to hell yet?

God actually said:
[3:31] Say: if ye do love God, follow me: God will love you and forgive you tour sin: for God is oft forgiving, most merciful .. Say: obey God and his apostle: but if they turn back, God loveth not those who reject faith.

For anyone who doesn't know... Julia was a very rude Atheist who seemed not to be able to construct a question without being thoroughly detrimental and obnoxious.

I am not a Christian but even I thought she was mad!

Wonder what her new ID will be?
Do you think she'll be back?

It's happened to me twice this week. Once regarding a ministry decision that I got the answer before I could sit down to pray about it. Another time, God gave me a computer I didn't need. Before I could pray about what to do with it, a soldiers family came to me needing one to video-chat with him while he's deployed. Any other believers ever experience this? Serious answers only, please.

I don't want to go to Hell for obvious reasons, and I don't want to go to Heaven because it's dishonest. Why should I enjoy my afterlife unless everyone is? And plus, I'm not serving any purpose but to flood my body with endorphins...not my scene. Honestly, I just want to grow old and die. I feel like a prisoner serving my own wants and needs.

It seems there is a pattern - I ask a question about the Bible, apparently its an embarrasing verse, like about slavery, and I am told my comments are stupid, or that I am ignorant.

Why is that?

Christians, when you call someone stupid, does that increase the likelihood of a conversion?
