Can ANYBODY show me the scripture that indicates that its writer beleived the earth was flat?

Isa 40:22 refers to "the circle of the earth". Evidently Phil isn't alluding to Isaiah.

This idea they describe as "God", that's what really pisses you off huh? The religeous zealots had self-serving ideas and bias' and decided that "God" has the same Ideals. Either that, or you don't like the cards you were given and you blame your Creator, huh? which way is it, or did I miss something?

and Cain and Abel had children, then who in the heck did Cain and Abel marry? their sisters? I have always had a problem with that one. No one can give a logical answer they just toss faith around and call you evil for asking too many questions!

I go to a inter-denom College, and my friends all go on missions trips, and from what it sounds like they just seem to play with kids and build stuff, or clean up stuff. Is it also trying to convert people? I am Catholic, so I'm kind of disturbed when my friends go to Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Belgium, all countries with high populations of Catholics, so if they weren't there to convert people from Catholicism, then what are they there for?

Islam and Christianity have been at odds with each other for centuries. Both sides have traded blows with invasions, crusades, forced conversions, and bloodshed since the first millenium A.D. Today, their differences and conflict is even more intense, with religious fanaticism battling against the modern world. This is not about who's right and who's wrong, this is about the past, present, and future of the world's two strongest faiths. Will these two great religions ever be able to co-exist or will there always be animosity.

cos Criss Angel could walk on water and David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty vanish. Best Jesus could do was to feed five thousand people and the Salvation Army does that on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Any ideas for some new tricks for the big J-man?

When the rain comes, from tears in God's eyes, that dreadful day, when God has to destroy his Creation.

Then it would be all light, singing in Heaven.

I'm not trying to trample toes here, I am a sincere follower of God. But I have heard of the principle of a female creator from a religion, and it made me wonder. Could there be a female deity that co-incides with our Heavenly Father? Or is it just mother earth? Or is it that we just cannot wrap our 10 % brain usage around it all? Or do I just ask too many questions? hmmmm
