Ok.. I am wanting to do a clarriying 'ritual' for myself. I bought 3 white candles for the job. i was thinking about carving into the candles rune symbols, and using somekind of oil on the candles as well.. maybe patchouli? Would this work? Is Patchouli good for using as a purifying type oil? I know its really grounding... but would it work for this purpose? I am wanting to cleanse my aura.. and just get in tuned with my inner self more. Any ideas??

Let's say I have met and made a 360 friend on Religion and Spirituality and they later decide to leave that friendship, wouldn't you expect a note or a message saying why and good bye? Why would you end a friendship without explanation? And for he who has done so I want to say I wish you well in all you choose and do.

His show used to come on after Seseme Street all the time. We know he was a highly decorated, tattooed, fully trained Navy seal preacher who was a closet homosexual. Honestly, how many straight men actually have that many cardigans?

its okay to have an abortion if the mother is poor, if she has goals (the baby would be in the way), what about if the mother is financially set and everythings O.K., she's just too lazy to take care of a baby. is that still good enough reason? or do you agree all the reasons i listed are extremely selfish?

When you have an experience, and you feel like a certain passage of the Bible really explains it. But someone says, no you're not interpreting it correctly.
Not just doctrinal things, all kinds of things. Friendships, family issues, whatnot. When a passage really speaks to you in a certain way, but people say you're wrong.

As an American and Christian, if praying in school was allowed would it be acceptable for other religions to practice their beliefs in school? After all America is suppose to be about freedom. I ask because I always hear about Christian people wanting prayer in school and never about another religion wanting their religious beliefs to be accepted in school. I think if some kid wanted to go worship the goddess at lunch a lot of people would be in an up roar.

Jesus said to the Jews: "Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (From the KJV Bible, Matthew 21:43)

What other nation beside the modern Muslims of today bow down to GOD Almighty in the most proper way? What other nation beside the modern Muslims Glorify GOD Almighty in their 5-daily Prayers, and fast the Month of Ramadan for Him?

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! (From the KJV Bible, Matthew 23:37)"

They became cursed, and GOD Almighty removed His Kingdom from them and gave it to another nation. That nation is non other than the "blessed" Muslims who came from the "blessed" Ishmael

I have recently rededicated my life to Christ and am wondering how to explain to other family members my reasons for not celebrating Halloween. Many of my family members are Christian but of other denominations that do still celebrate it. I don't want them to perceive me as judgemental but would like them to respect my views as well. Any suggestions?

why dont anti-war protesters start protesting somthing really harmful to this planet? like religon. more people have died from religous clashes over the course of human history than any other cause. the ultamate irony of that is that the most violent religons (Christianity, Judism, and to lesser extent Islam) have a freaking commandment stating: "thou shalt not kill." just look at northern Ireland, Israel, and back to the crusades and the inqusistion to see how seriously they take that. perhaps they should amend it to "thou shalt try real hard not to kill anyone unless of course they pray to a different invisible avenger than the one you pray to."
specal thanks to george carlin for his revised edition of the 10 commandment from which this was barrowed

especially my mom. I hate it when they judge others and just act like they know everything about them when they know nothing. And even though I don't know these people myself, I still sorta stick up for them. Like say we're driving and we see a 'homeless' man on the side of the road holding up a sign. My dad will be all like "He's white he can get a job easier than I could and end up my boss the next day." I figure you don't know what that man's been through in his life, you don't know his story, and they instantly get upset with me for sticking up for people and not agreeing with them. It happens often too. I actually hate that they think like that. I'm 15.

He was alone coming home from a party... drunk. He went head-on into a tree. Police say that he probably died on impact but the car also exploded. The only way he could be identified was from the licence plate; they are still waiting for his dental records. That's how burned he was. My cousin says that he no longer believes in God and never will because God would not have let this happen. How would you argue this? Is it in some way true to an extent?
