The easy answer is beause they prefer to think they are superior to you. A harder answer is you may be acting/living/talking as if you are not familiar with the Bible.
An inscrutible answer is...it may be just the opposite of what you feel. They want to impress you because they are a little afraid of you.
I am a pastor, hold a doctorate, have read the Bible stem to stern over a dozen times. People still prefer to think I don't know much about the Bible and they should teach me.

I don't assume you don't know that much about the Bible. It's easy to take offense when talking about faith. It's also dangerous to assume we know all there is to know. The only thing the Bible says or implies about this is that we must be in the word, expect discernment from the Holy Spirit, and that any discernment that conflicts with the Word is not of the Holy Spirit. I went in and looked at some of your earlier questions and don't see unusually, (for this forum), disparaging or mocking answers. I hope this helps and I hope you keep asking questions and giving your opinion to others.

Friend, always remain uneducated in scripture as this is a blessing. For the moment you believe that you understand something of it you can no longer learn. The wisest is the one who confesses they know nothing and in this way everything will be new, informative and fresh.

Maybe it is how the question is formed that make one underestimate your knowlege of the bible. I am not saying that is the case, since I don't recognize your Adivar.
Added later: I just looked at your " For Christians, how do you interpret the scripture? "
and I think it was really deep and made me think, so keep it up!

because many people like to be thological - it makes them look good, they would rather use 10 letter words than basic words so they can impress you, Jesus had 12 disciples and almost all of them were uneducated people and most of them only knew how to fish, it knowing the basics and the most imporant things in christianity and that is Grace and Jesus.

Well Cirque_de, the answer is that we are all faceless in here.
So many people do what they do in their lives and that is try to appear as though they are smarter then you. I asked some questions about evolution and most of the answers questioned my education. Simply keep asking your questions and ignore the answers that you don't like. Belittlers are everywhere and in here it is easy because they are faceless.

I ask questions when prompted by spirit,I think just to make people think,to open their minds to spiritual growth. I see others doing the same thing, in answering their question God may reach another who has not thought to ask the question.

Consider putting something in your "about me" blurb that indicates how much training you've had. Or cite some chapters & verses in your answers. If you don't have your bible with you, bible.com is a quick way to look something up.

Why does it matter what others think of you? Disprove their theories at the appropriate time, and then they'll feel like they're worth 2 cents.
