I have a few pet gaboon vipers that are just sooo sweet, I'd like to take them to a local church, but I am not sure if they would be well recieved, I don't want to scare them by taking them to a church that might react with panic

Oh indeedy Do, those revival tents and hell fire and brimstone types always run out of snakes when they drink gasoline and are bitten.. sometimes they get stomped when the spirit of others manifests itself in shouts and glorification of the masses. If anything, I think you even qualify for some form of tax deduction, (maybe a charitable gift?) during these instances.
Besides you're in worship and God made all animals, whether domestic or not,, heck I even challenge PETA to jump on board of this inquiry! God Bless you sinner!

October 4, 2006 is the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi. Catholic churches encourages all pets and animals of all kinds to come to church for a blessing.
Saint Francis is the patron saint of animals. Serious. October 4th, bring them to church. Great fun.

In the Catholic Church they have a blessing for the animals once a year and we may take our pets (or any animal for that matter). Sometimes a priest will even come to your home and Bless it and everything in it including your pets.

if your church allowes you to i guess you could but at my church you can only bring a pet if your blind and have a seeing eye dog

at our church we have one sunday a year where you have to bring your pets so they can be blessed and you can show them off. maybe you should sugguest something like that so that way everyone can bring their pet.
