For example: Where did all the water come from for the worldwide Flood, and where did it go afterward? How did Noah feed all the animals? How could he possibly have collected all those species?

Um....weren't all those details meant to define the whole to-do as Supernaturally designed and executed?

What if y'all could come up with credible, well-constructed scientific explanations for all those questions? The response of unbelievers might be, in that case: "Well, see, that wasn't a miracle of God a'tall, the way the Bible says it is. You've just proved that it could have happened naturally, with no supernatural intervention.

And non-Bible believers why are you asking. You know just the right buttons to push on those eager evangelistic beavers don't you, you clever devils! But wouldn't everyone's time be better spent working on solutions to problems we ALL have: facing epidemics, aging population that will need medical care (with fewer young people to provide it)..ENERGY!!!

I am going to a catholic school and I keep hearing about HAIL Mary and prayer to both Mary and the Pope. I sure do respect them both and my denomination is very similar to both but doesnt the Bible actually say that Jesus was the only holy person ever and you are not allowed to pray to anything except God. I have many catholic friends and would just like understand why thaey let a priest judge punishments for sins that are between them and God...!?

Between Larry the Cucumber (VeggieTales) and a battery operated sex toy? They both have very similar movements.

I'll never see VeggieTales the same way now.

I have found Criss Angel to be very intruiging. He explains many of his tricks, but the ones where he does fascinating things...it makes me wonder if he is using supernatural forces. What do you guys think?

This is a quote from 'The Doors of Perception' by Aldous Huxley, it was writen in 1954. does anyone else agree with this? I do.

As recently as three hundred years ago an expression of thoroughgoing world denial and even world condemnation was both orthodox and comprehensible. "We should feel wonder at nothing at all in Nature except only the Incarnation of Christ." In the seventeenth century, Lallemant's phrase seemed to make sense. Today it has the ring of madness.

So I have a question about Yom Kippur,,,, I am a convert to Judiasm and today was my first Yom Kippur experience. I went to services this morning for about 4 hours, but didnt stay throughout the day. Does that make me a bad Jew?

I have low blood sugar that causes me to faint if I dont eat for like 8 hours, so I did a modified fast and ate very little. Is this wrong to do? Does this mean that I didnt do what I should have for attonment?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, just needing to know. Thanks.

Christians do you have difficulty explaining Trinity to non-Christians? Do you wish your religion didn't have Trinity so that non-Christians would be willing to accept Christianity more easily?

Basically this is how it sounds to me. God is One, but God has a son, and that son is Jesus, Jesus is a person (who like everybody eats and goes to relieve himself), then there is Holy Spirit, but they are all 3 are One!

I just went to church for my family's sake and was thinking about this "Holy Spirit". It sounds so odd to me after all these years. Here is god - we look like him, here is jesus - we are like him and here is the rarely-mentioned holy sprirt. It is such a blast to think stuffy Catholics are accepting an intangible like that.

Lets hear from the Christ centered believer who can murder some human being/ cutting his head off with his own hand while calling loudly "Cod is Great", "In the name of Jesus Christ" I'm telling you brother, the spirit of God through the spirit of His Son dose not, /can not work this way,It is impossible for the Spirit of Christ to manifest itself in a man like this, for He has been born in the likeness of The Father.
The radical Spirit of Islam is able to manifest itself in some members of its body due to certain writings in there Koran, and this radical spirit of Islam comes directly from the pain of Ishmael, way back at the beginning, at the casting out by the Father/ our Father Abraham..... The result is typical to what we see all around us in the broken sons from broken families, A hardened mind, a hardened heart

Now folks, im talking about The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.
God's true and only Son, who was here in the flesh 2000 years ago, -He comes again

I am 24 yr old man who is struggling to live life at the moment. I have faced numerous obstacles and challenges in my life but none greater than severe depression and lust problem.
Why couldn't I resist or overcome them just like I did against drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sex? That is beyond me to answer. All I know is I tried my best and worked hard to become a good person and the best person I can be. But still, I couldn't overcome severe depression and lust problem.
I have been living with those 2 problems for the past 8 years on daily basis. And to put it bluntly, I am just sick and tired of living with them. I am tired of being bothered by them, my life being robbed of happiness and enjoyment no matter how hard I try.
I tried nightly praying, writing daily journals, posting on support board, asking for advice, reading self-help book, getting new hobbies.
What more can I possibly try? Why does it have to be me who endures this?
