You don't try to. If your belief has the blessings of the Holy Spirit, and the person's heart is seeking knowledge and change, than there is no argument to be made in a debate. You can debate the merits of a belief, just to learn better about your own beliefs.

Debate is a little like tic tac toe. Once you learn the basics it's usually a stalemate.

Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder,(*** debate***), deceit, malignity; whisperers,

But if you answer real questions you may be able to help someone. That's the highest calling I can think of.

GOD bless ya.

Two topics that should never be discussed or debated. Religion and politics. Reason being that there is no answer, no right or wrong and no definitive resolve for either.
Save your breath.
