John 1:1, considering the Greek of the above verse which disproves the assertion that Jesus is referred to as God in the verse. In the verse above, the first time the word God is used, the Greek is "TON THEOS", which means "a god". However, the stronger Greek word "HO THEOS" which means "Divine God" was used for satan in 2 Corinthians 4:4. The NIV Bible Author wrote "god" for Satan instead of "God", which the word itself literally means The God. The second time the word God is used,"....and the word was God," the word for God is TONTHEOS, which also means "a god". a literal greek translation: look In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was A God."
Europeans have evolved a system of capital and small letters non-existent in Greek. The God, HOTHEOS is translated as God with a capital G, whereas Tontheos, which means A or ANY God is translated with a small g, god.

I know this has nothing to do with religion but it seems to be where most people are. My crazy (seriously demented not even joking) grandma said that if you put too many people in a building it would collapse. I dont think so and she wants me to prove her wrong. I mean logically, not where you sequeezing people inside but standing or sitting. NOT a house.

was running/walking on my daily prayer walk as I was praying about Gods will for my life...I usually try to go about 2-3 miles and pray. As I walked He took me up in spirit... it is like a dream that happens while you are awake... He shone His face on me...that is where all true visions come from..the light of His sweet shining face.

He let me see into Heaven and I saw Him open a window... He was in female form and pointed ahead of the present moment into the near future . He/she pointed right exactly at a place He wants me to be in spiritual power and romantic love with Him as well as a place of being used by Him to help people. he said to me, " I will help you get there...to the place I want you to go. I will speak to the people I want to help you. ".

Then I felt His white cloud of His Spirit kind of whirlwind around me and that sweet ethereal peace. Then it was over.

Please share with me any insights that God/Jesus gives you.

Daily TV news show about deaths in bomb, war, gun shot...of innocent people...why are they supposed to be killed...?
I am sorry... Islam is not a killing religion..I think...then who???
Buddhism will simply answer those killed people might have kill others in their pass life....ANyone discuss to me ?

Imagine if hypothetically Christains, Jews and Muslims believed in all three?
After all, they did all branch from Abraham and refer to the same God. Not only would there be no more religious wars in the regions, but imagine all the public holidays! Easter, Pass Over, Ramidam.
I am probably dreaming though - it will probably never happen.

I went to a mosque last week and said my shehada and became a muslim. the guy at the mosque said he would call me later in the week and help me understand what being a muslim was all about but he never called me. i know i have to pray 5 times a day but don't know much else.

I'm doing a paper on the reasons people are for and against gay marraige and my friends dad is a preacher, and I asked him about this. He told me about Soddam and Gamoura(I probably spelled that wrong). But when I read it, it sounded more to be like God was mad at the people just for their evil doings in general. Oh and for wanting to have sex with angels.....not because it was gay sex. And then he was like, "I never thought of it that way before....well I'm sure there are more places where it says it is wrong to be gay, i will get back to you on that."
LOL he hasnt got back to me yet, so do you know of a place in the bible where it says it is wrong to be gay?or a sin?

Are they religious deviants?

I mean, afterall, approximately 33% of the world's population identifies as being Christian, which is no majority by any stretch of the imagination, yet some of them force their religion on others as if everyone else is wrong. When will they learn to stop forcing their beliefs onto others?

Nuclear weapons are weapons of mass destruction. The 'collateral damage' they cause -- both to humans and the earth itself -- is potentially omni-cidal. Even if one accepts the theory of a 'just war', nuclear weapons can not meet the standards, particularly of 'proportionality'. Any nation holding nuclear weapons should be seen as an outlaw to humanity.
