Temples have been around as long as there has been a Jehovah. And even the early christians took part in the ceremonies therein. Why then is it no longer important to have temples?

After all, how is jesus suposed to " ...suddenly ccome to his temple..." (malachai 3:1) with out a temple to go to?

DNA stands for DeoxyriboNucleic Acid.

Instructions providing all of the information necessary for a living organism to grow and function are present in the nucleus of every cell.

These instructions tell the cell what role it will play in your body. What do these instructions look like?

The instructions are in the form of a molecule called DNA. These molecules encode a detailed set of plans, like a blueprint, for building different pieces of the cell.

Almost the entire universe is made up of DNAs. DNAs are instructions!

No atheist will not look at a computer program and think that the codes just come together by themselves to become a intelligent program! Somebody had to have coded the program to tell it what to do.

Now why would atheist look at themselves and figured that instructions in their DNAs come together just like that by themselves! WHY! Surely Somebody had to "code the DNA" so to speak. u think?

I am a christian (im not trying to start any religious compition so if it seems like i am please dont take it that way) and i am having trouble. I love life, and love living, and believe in God fully.but i am scared, very VERY scared of what happens after i die. People always tell me you have to believe, have faith. That has not ever worked for me when i look at death and dieing in a sceintific kinda way, so people tell me not to look at it like that, it seems impossible to do that too. Can anyone REAlLY answer tthis question or is it really just blind faith?

to name a few, catholics use Catechism, mormons use the BOM. Gods word clearly states Deuteronomy 4:2 You shall not add to the word which I command you , nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Proverbs 30:6 Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
i truly do not understand this.

I know you guys think being gay is a sin but how come you guys dont make a big deal about murders, cheaters, theifs, adulterous people, murders... etc. all of them repenting and going to hell. I learned at my Catholic school that a sin is a sin and murder is the same as stealing. So why do you guys pay so much attention to them and not the other sinners? Why not pray the change than trash them?

Im an atheist, and my current biggest question is. If God was always there, what the hell was he doing for the infinite amount of time before creating Earth and everything else? He must have been seriously bored.

I'm compiling an unscientific "Top Ten" list of notable failures/sins in the Bible. Who and what do you think belongs on the list?

i'm ok when i wake up, go to school/work and think about what i'd like to accomplish. or when i go out with my friend, go to the movies, read a book & so on...but when i get home, in the afternoon and in the middle of the night (if i can't fall asleep) i feel really depressed. i so miss having someone in my life and it just doesn't happen. so how do i deal with being single and feel satisfied about being alone. (please don't write about going out and dating different people 'cause you can't force yourself into falling in love.) you can fool your mind but not your heart.

thanks.

why are there so many denominations of christianity, and why do most think that the other is wrong? isnt that an indication that the bible is a "interpret it the way you want" book, if god really speaks through the bible, why is it so inefficient? it's imperative that a "priest/shaman/scolar" figure do the guiding.

why do they call non muslims infidels? Why does islam call for slaying of infidels? If these infidels were sent prophets by god that means they are on the right path set for them by god, then who is a muslim to decide how another person should lead his life! Those people may have been delivered a different message coz god has something different planned for them. Do muslims want to defy god's will?

How long do you think you have left to insult and mock God? Don't you know that he'll have the last laugh?
Eating, drinking, storing up riches for yourself? Thinking you have a lot of years left in you?
Beware those who reject God's plan of salvation. After you die then the judgement.

I find it rather perplexing your core belief is that we essentially came from nothing, yet, please entertain me and tell me how, exactly how, do you get something from nothing? Doesn't this go against your most important core value, science. In fact, this defies science, does it not? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but doesn't science need a cause and effect? Can you name me anything in the universe that does not?

I wonder about your core belief, I wonder how you use science as a crutch and evolution as a crutch to somehow prove your deep construed thesis' that justifies there's no God, yet you don't realize the core essence of your belief is based on evolving from nothing. I don't mean to come off the wrong way, I just want an answer.
