This is interesting - I haven't demanded forgiveness of you (or anyone else I can think of - demanding forgiveness doesn't work) and which faith would that be? To whom are you speaking? Are you asserting that all faith of every kind is a sham? How sad. A life with no faith of any kind is a sterile, lonely existence.

Your choice of words indicates a desire to simply be insulting to the largest group of strangers you can, but it's hard to insult someone who doesn't have any reason to care what you think. You poor thing.

If you are refering to the Christians, you are wrong again. We never demand. We ask God to forgive us. There is no demanding, that is a real false question. Why would you even think that any religion would demand ??? I want to tell you how I ask God to forgive me. I fold my hands and after I have called upon Jesus , I give Thanks Unto Him, for letting me have a good day and be able to survive in this world. THEN I ASK, Dear Heavenly Father , Please forgive me for my sins. Please protect all of us and especially all the little children, all over the world. Guide me Lord and let me follow in Thy footsteps to learn more of Thy word. There is no demanding. Jesus says, Ask and Ye shall recieve. Jesus tells us to ask, not demand and that is exactly what the Christians do. Good question tho., Take care and may God bless you, Always !!

Who said we demand forgiveness?

To whom or what are you refering. Forgiveness is something to be given by a person or diety that has been wronged or maligned. You cannot demand it any more than the person you want forgiveness from can demand that you ask it of them.

We don't demand forgiveness, forgiveness is a free gift to all that ask God for it. Jesus purchased it by willingly sacrificing Himself and taking the punishment for our sins. When we acccept forgivemess, that must be a sham. We must then live a life loyal to God.

strike each and every of the crap about your imaginary sky fairy and seem at why the bible has a "forgiveness" provision in it objectively. you do not have any evidence of the existance of this god fellow- even with the indisputable fact that it interior reason elementary to work out why there develop right into a forgiveness doctrine put in from an purpose point of view. right here you've an complete set of confusing and quickly draconian regulations to maintain on with- and the truthful conception through a those who in the journey that they don't keep on with them, they're going to be punished without way out. the forgiveness parts grant a elementary of wish for them to nevertheless stay in the administration of the religion. ultimately, its the former "provide with the large hand and take with the little hand" in opposite, you won't be able to triumph over someone up emotionally without progression them up or all you're doing is breaking them- no longer controlling them to act the way you want (because the bible and faith needs). so the "forgiveness" is an major component to the brainwashing and administration mechanisms of the bible to get peopel to maintain on with.

The first step in wanting to be forgiven is 'asking' for forgiveness, not demanding it. And faith is something you need to pray that the Lord will increase in you.
