A sense of apathy isn't unusual at your age.

Focus on the things that you enjoy doing, the things that bring you peace. It's from those things that you discover who you are.

Also focus outward as well, and find ways to help others. You will come to realize that every life has a purpose, and every person is special.

Finally, be careful who you take advice from! : )

Yes, you absolutely should care about your life. God does. There was a time when I would not have given two cents for my own life. I was existing because I always thought it was just easier than the alternative. I've known so many people who attempted suicide and some who succeeded. It always seemed to me that they went to a whole lot of trouble and then the horrific drama afterward when they didn't succeed. I just figured I would live until I died and that would be good enough. My life changed. This will sound sooooooooo phony, but really... crap happened and I somehow ended up reading the Bible against my better judgment. Good things started happening and I just kept reading it over and over. At first it was just confusing. Then it sort of read like a drama with a weird ending. Then I started getting it. Really, from the start, good things started happening to me. It sounds like crap, but that's the truth. Give it a try... or not.

But, your life means something to God and that's pretty cool.

Hi. Wow, you must be feeling very sad these days. I don't know all the reasons, but if you don't care about your life right now then I will care about it for you. You are a very important to all of the rest of us out here on planet Earth. We need you. You are unique and special and wonderful. So I will care about you while you heal up. Ok?

You're young... in fact, I looked into you a bit and when you consider it, if you live to be 90 you've only completed 1/6th; and 75 it's 1/5th of your lifetime.

You're still figuring out who you are and that takes time. Plus you've got alot of changes going on hormonally.

Be kind to yourself - like you would a good buddy.

I recommend picking up a copy of The Message. It's the bible but translated into easy reading. It helps the reader get to the meaning without all the old language. In the bible there are lots of people who go through hardships, doubts, crises, happiness. Alot of learning that can take you through a lifetime. I've included the on-line version below.

I found it helpful to go to my creator for directions about living here; He's the one that brought me here, so He'll have my answers.

Good luck and God bless

actually yes you should.

this is not coming from some happy go lucky person, i am probably much like you. i go through times of depression, practical hate the holiday season. and even attempetd suicide once.(no cry for help sleeping pills or butter knices. i put a 12ga shotgun to my chin and pulled the trigger. a winchester shell misfired. i re-co**ed the gun and fired into the air and it went off fine.) i figure that something saved my life so that meant that it was worth living. and if life is worth living it is worth careing about.

find yourself a few friends and go have some fun. when the springtime comes and the days get longer youwill feel better.

I looked back at your other questions. No wonder your in a funk. You need to realize that your way is not working. Listening to the people who you have picked as best answers is no good either. You are really just looking for people who agree with what you already think. You need to learn what purpose your life has. Why did God put you here. Taking advice from atheist about God is like taking swimming lessons from somebody that has never been in the water. Get your answers from somebody that read the bible over and over and understands it.

God cared enough about you that He gave you life, and the fact that He gives you breath each morning is something worthy of praise. Perhaps you just need to figure out where you place is in this whole 3 ring act and get going....

Baby, you need to get off the computer and talk with someone who loves you. Tell them about your feelings. Tomorrow, contact your health care provider and get in touch with a therapist. (If you're underage, your mom or dad can do this.) Make an appointment w/him or her and get yourself on track emotionally. Every life is a precious gift! Yours is too, you just don't realize it right now. Please speak with someone! God Bless!

You need a reason to live.God and His word is what you need. Jesus wants to be your savior, will you ask Him to? Find a good bible believing church and go to it. Get involved in the Lords work, and help others. You were created for a purpose. Bless you.
