It means that each of us is a part of God.
If God is for you then all parts Of God can not help but follow the will of God. Even if they temporally think otherwise.
In the end they will all realize that you and they are all part of the same God.
Love and blessings

Romans 8:31 God is for us, It means that God loves us. He wants us to succeed He wants us to be with Him; And if God is for us nothing can stand against us because nothing and no one is greater than God. So no one can be against you if God is for you and He is for the people who love and accept Him.

That means there is no force on earth that can harm you if you are saved by faith in Jesus Christ. The bible also has this verse: do not be afraid of the one who can kill the body, but be afraid of the one who can cast the soul into hell. That is, man can do nothing to a born again believer, eternally speaking. We are saved for all of time. For those who do not have faith in Christ, that is the second part of the verse. They should be afraid, because satan has them and they will be taken to hell.
If God is for you, who can be against you? What does it matter if they are? If you are one of His, and remain in Him, nothing that happens to you will matter, you will be with Him forever.

It means, if we are with Christ, then what really is the worst that could happen in any situation, no matter how dreadful?
We either endure the hardships and have a stronger witness to bear or, at the very worst, we die and are united with Christ. We win either way. Paul is saying there is nothing on this earth that we have justifiable reason to fear.

Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I think that means; you + God = a majority. I think of David and Goliath when I think of that scripture.
